OMG, so can we please talk/spazz (@13infamyss) about the previews for ep. 10 of Gangnam Beauty?

1. OMG OMG OMG HE SAID YES!!!??? He’s crazy. He’s outta his mind. I love it! (Side note: I just noticed that’s the kid that followed Mi-rae and her friend that one night!)

2. Poor Woo-young! Looks like he’s finally starting to make a move on Mi-rae… at the same time as Kyung-seok, though? Sigh. And I honestly thought he wouldn’t pursue Mi-rae since he’s technically her teacher and I’m sure there are rules against a TA dating their student, but I guess that’s a later problem for him to worry about.

3. OMG, our OTP prepping and primping themselves BC THEY’RE GOING TO BE WORKING TOGETHER?!? Ahhhhhhhh~! Such cuties!

4. AWWW @ Kyung-seok’s confession about being so happy (that he could possibly cry? Haha) that they’ve reunited. That’s sweet, and so like him. He’s such a sweet, precious boy.

Okay, so I won’t be able to actually discuss with you guys rn because I should really sleep since I have work in a few hours (don’t judge me), BUT just wanted to share my excitement for the next ep! I’m really happy I get to watch it later and not have to wait one whole week for the cuteness. May Kyung-seok continue to ignore Soo-a and convince Mi-rae to do the same bc girl’s just not gettin’ it. Begone! Shoo! Leave our awkward, love birds alone!

    1. Ohhhhhhhh!!!! Was he really?!!! @alasecond and I were talking about how the high school kid might be crushing on her and that’s why he claimed he’s the boyfriend to get this kid off his case! LOL But that would make sense now if he was the same stalker kid.

    2. I`m kinda bothered too at the fact that in this drama Woo Young is the TA and is liking Mirae hard. In the webtoon, he’s just someone a sunbae to them that pissed Kyungsuk off cuz he didn’t leave Mirae alone. While I appreciate that Woo Young has more story in this drama, a story about liking your student seems kind of like a taboo subject to touch upon. Anyways looking forward for more Kyungsuk the jelly hijinks then! hhahaha Also, it’s something noteworthy – Kyungsuk calls him “Woo Young hyung” now (used to be sunbae). He gets really comfy to people who show him compassion. Still waiting for the day he calls Kang Mirae, “Mirae-ya” xD

    3. LOL at them dressing up……….to go to work. Never thought going to work was this exciting. LMAO. I might have fangirl at the scene where Mirae spayed herself with perfume. And Kyungsuk raising his eyebrows at Woo Young with a smile on his face.. Ahhh…..

    4. TT________TT I might have teared up too when he said that. Why is he so precious. He’s really thankful of her entire existence and now that she’s becoming a big part of his life, he really treasures every single moment he has with her. Look at those smiles they had at the last screencap, pure gold. When did watching a bus ride scene get this so heartwarming? So happy that our male lead is so honest with his feelings, hopefully he confesses his feelings at the right time at the right moment very soon.

    For a 31 sec preview, there was so much to talk about???? JTBC, keep them coming! I can’t wait to see it later tonight with subs. I`m gonna stay off as much as possible from seeing Ep 10 spoilers, cuz I wanna spazz hard with English subs hahha. It’s past-3:00AM my time, and I`m still talking about this drama. Help. -____-

      Lol! It was definitely super late/early morning on my end, too! Haha. We’re one and the same! I was like, “I really need to sleep now… just after I get this post out and share my thoughts!” Omg, thanks for replying to every point! I’m about to leave for work again soon. I’m definitely gonna watch ep. 10 tonight and I’ll come back to reply to everything you wrote here and we’ll spazz/fangirl some more! Haha. And oh, ikr? I usually avoid watching previews, but since I didn’t have any more eps to watch, I figured why not. Anyways, avoid those spoilers! I’ll ttyl~!

        This drama bug bit us so hard, it’s tough to find cure. Not that I’d want to be cured to begin with. K, have fun at work and we def be spazzing on ep 10 after! I`m still waiting for subs, and I`m scared to visit fan walls right now cuz I want 0 spoilers on future episodes (well I do 100% entertain previews). Can’t wait to see it, ep 9 has been on repeat for hours now. TTYL!

      1. You’ve watched ep 10 by now, right? I’m sure you have! It’s the same stalker kid. I totally don’t buy Kyung-seok’s reasoning for calling himself Mi-rae’s bf simply bc he’s “not a girl(friend),” but a boyfriend… a friend who’s a boy. HA! Classic.

      2. You’ve read the webtoon?
      Woo-young’s awesome, but yeah, if he were to really date Mi-rae, they’d be tons of problems, but I feel like they’ll also be easy solutions like Mi-rae switching classes/teachers or have Woo-young move to another school. That’s a lot of work, so it’s best to just not do it, Woo-young. 😅 Poot thing.

      Oh wow, I didn’t even notice Kyung-seok calling Woo-young “hyung” until you said it! That’s so sweet! I love that Kyung-seok’s finally met and is surrounded by good people that love and care about him.

      4. I LOVE Kyung-seok’s honesty and straightforwardness! He’s the reason why I’m not worried about Soo-ah’s existence and her crazy ways. Whatever she does or say, it doesn’t sway him in the slightest and he most likely sees her true (evil) colors/intentions.

        1. Yep! And I`m still watching it…. over and over again. And yes so right, same kid. I don’t think any of us bought his excuse for calling himself boyfriend, not even Mirae lol. I love his face too when both of them got quiet and his facial expression got softer, looking proud for coming up with an excuse to be called boyfriend. lol. Mirae’s cute smile did not escape me either. She was so confused and abit upset that he was leading her on, but she looked happy, Kyungsuk protecting him and all!

        2. Yes, I’ve read the webtoon and still reading it too.. again and again TT____TT I`m hopeless. Now that you’ve mentioned it, I just hope this won’t become a talk in uni that somehow Woo Young and Mirae are an item. This is the least I should worry about. I don’t need another baseless rumour that involves Mirae…..

        Kyungsuk softens up with people who he knows are genuine. I honestly love seeing four of them hang out and having bbq party together. Kyungsuk has finally found a group of friends to hang with TT____TT

        3. Yeep, there’s only Mirae in his vision. Going back to Kyungsuk’s question to Mirae when they were locked up in the dept room – if Mirae didn’t misunderstand Kyungsuk in middle high, would they have been friends? I think they would. I can totally see Kyungsuk taking the initiative (just like he does now) to come talk to her and hang. Had there been Kyungsuk in Mirae’s life back in middle school, I don’t think her self-esteem would have been hitting an all time low. But then again, he would have moved still and leave her all by herself. Either way, they could still keep in touch and stuff. Ahhh~ my imagination is running wild again. Anyways, I`m glad too that they’ve met again and become so much close.

          I love seeing Kyung-seok smile to himself when he feels proud of himself–it’s super cute. Woo-young does the same thing too, actually. It’s just a really cute thing boys (and girls) do, I guess. Haha.

          Omg, you’re totally obsessed with this story! Is the webtoon in English?
          Ooh, now that you mention it, I totally think that’s gonna happen! I can totally imagine ppl (Soo-ah, ugh) finding out that Woo-young likes Mi-rae, spread it around, and ppl will harass Mi-rae for it. Omg, what if Woo-young gets fired??? Eeek! I’m with you–I don’t want Mi-rae hurt, but I think this is a possible scenario. OOH! But then that’s when Kyung-seok will confess that HE and Mi-rae are dating! HEE.

          YES, I love seeing all four of ’em hang out together even though I feel bad for Mi-rae’s bff bc she likes Woo-young. But it’s always amusing to see the boys be petty at each other.

          Awww, I would’ve loved to see Kyung-seok try harder to befriend Mi-rae back then. We only saw him take initiative once when he Be her if she was wearing perfume. She took his question the wrong way, and he didn’t even try to explain himself… he just let it go. Another time he/they could’ve talked was at the bus stop when he was watching her feet tapping/dancing. While Mi-rae was definitely in a really bad place back then, I think if just one person like Kyung-seok took initiative and talked to her and tried to befriend her, things could’ve been different. I don’t blame any of them, though. Like you, I’m just glad they’ve met again now. Better late than never is what I always say!

          Yeah… I was kinda bummed about that, but I’m okay w/ it bc I usually don’t watch previews anyways. I’m gonna try to continue to stay away from previews when they come out, so I can be surprised!
