Beanie level: Errand boy

Is this the good-looking lunatic the female historians were talking about in Rookie?

The beauty and the pain of this scene still make me cry. Bangwon’s inner struggle wasn’t evident until he started crying and I just wish he didn’t cross over to the path of no return.

\”This episode was so whack, I think I have high blood pressure now.\”

All of us after watching EP25 of Six Flying Dragons. One of the best episodes ever in the whole dramaland. Insane!

I don’t even need to go back to the recap to know what happened. That damn episode 25.

You just know which one. Lol. It was after Christmas too! The action and all the blood was crazy but then they gave us that satisfying ending to the episode. Just wow. I couldn’t have asked for more.

Min Woo-won freaking took my heart and stepped on it a million times. All of a sudden it felt like it’s his drama. I’m so glad to finally get an insight of who he is and his past.

Lee Ji hoon was fantastic in this episode.

And kudos to the shows director and cinematography department. The starkness of the beginning and the end of his relationship with his wife is so well done.

Yesssss! I love that scene! It was done really well. Everything about it. The change of color scheme and that ending with the zoom out to darkness. ㅠㅠ

I usually save the show for evenings but couldn’t resist peaking ahead. Like you, I was awestruck by Min Woo Won’s story and Lee Ji Hoon’s performance. Kudos to the show for delivering fluff and pathos without whiplash.

Exactly. One moment you are grinning at these idiots writing fiction to hold hands and then the next moment you have to wring your heart to dry.

I knowww. I had to go to work right after (I almost got late!) and my feelings were so mixed together, I didn’t know what to feel!

Yes! I was internally screaming with the cute scenes and that backstory slapped me back into reality so fast I didn’t even see it coming!

Officer Yang can be such a jerk but when his babies get hurt, he comes through and fight for them.

He is such a nice person, hopefully the writer pairs him with one of the other rookie historians

He still seems to be cameo so far considering the special thanks at the end but I do want him to have a happy ending as well~

If DB ever get the chance to interview Shin Sekyung, I want to ask this: Considering many sageuks she has done (even played So-yi who has photographic memory), how much Hanja does she write in dramas?

2

I know they have doubles but I’m curious if at some point she started writing a portion of it. I noticed she writes a lot in sageuks.

She was always a good student and talented linguist since a very young age. I wouldn’t be surprised if she know Hanja calligraphy. According to wiki she also was ambassador for the Korean Language.

That’s what I thought too. She’s really smart so I won’t be surprised if she does parts of it.

    The Crown Prince is married.

    2
    2

I hope he remains the well-wisher/mentor/ruler. I would have for a cliche ‘brothers falling for same girl’. I hight doubt the show will go there.

      3
      1

I don’t know, it would not surprise me if they try it because he hates his wife and married her out of convenience. He straight up called his wife a spy.

p.s. I really need to check my spellings before hitting ‘send’!!

I think he is going to be set up with the other historian (Song?). Or she is here with a purpose?
I really really don’t want this love square. This show has so much going on that they don’t have to rely on love plots to fill their plot.

          1
          1

There has to be some history there because her father is part of the council. Just how old is the Crown Prince? We know that GHR is 26 and Rim has to be in his early 20’s. That has to put the Crown Prince over 30, at least 35. And since we know that marriage was on her brother’s agenda because of GHR’s ‘advanced’ age, the other females historians have to be what, late teens/early 20’s. It feels weird for the CP to have anyone. No scenario looks good.

Lol I know. I just like seeing them together.
