Beanie level: Wrongly accused fugitive

I did a lot of new things for the first time last year.. 2022 was a year of growth. I put myself out there for the first time.. tried dating.. after only making it till the second date with a few.. I’ve found someone who I really like and I’m dating long enough to call my boyfriend… whoa, never thought I’d have one.

I was always indifferent to Valentine’s Day but now I’m considering gifting him something.. hmm whats a good gift to get a first time boyfriend I don’t know that well yet?

The world is moving at such a fast pace, it may feel like we can’t keep up. We are influenced and impacted by reading and hearing about people’s achievements.. everyone just seems to be doing so much!

In the last year I kept up with one activity… working out at the gym! I missed it for very few things. I have become stronger and healthier in a matter of a year. I have reached an optimum BMI. I am really proud of myself for being consistent with it, and it helped me cope with the feeling of not doing enough and being good enough.

We should all identify an activity or 2 that we do only for ourselves, and that helps us feel good.. it’s really so important! Another is to express and share the smallest of our achievements!

It’s February already! The year’s passing by fast!

But on this Saturday night, the 4th of February, there’s a beautiful relaxing Sunday to look forward to. No, for a few hours I won’t think about the work and responsibilities of the next week, let’s have a good nights sleep. There’s plenty of time before I have to face that again!

Time will keep passing but we will always have Saturday nights, the time we can put aside our worries!

It was a busy year so I deliberately picked short, light dramas that I wouldn’t get addicted to, but they were honestly awful.

The sageuks definitely had the best costumes this year. I especially like the costumes worn by the ladies in The King’s Affection

Days 1 and 2 – The lead I will never forget

Bong-whana/ So-bong- for obvious reasons but for also thinking of protecting himself over everything else, for empathizing with the woman whose body hes inhabiting, for thriving in the Joseon era, and for changing history. Shin Hye-sun’s performance is one of the greatest, and the first half of the show along with Choi Jin-hyuk’s voiceovers were the best.

Amnesia trope in My Unfamiliar Family, convenient secret closet room for hiding and then the couple having time to run up the house, take cash and escape right under the police\’s nose in Flower of Evil, really cracked me up.

Best trio- Definitely Mystic Pop-up Bar trio!
