Hi beanies, I decided to catch up on drama world and I started with house helper which I will discuss about another time. The second drama was life on mars and that’s what I want to talk about now. I watched episode 8 and it really got to me. Life is so unfair, the innocent are the rich and if you guilty then you are poor. In a way I feel it reflects the society we live in. what do you beanies think?

    Actually I think the show may have slipped up there. That those guys were rapists or murders is something our detectives got from the press, how on earth would the press know? It turns out they’d only committed minor crimes likes stealing a load of bread. It’s impossible to get a 7 year sentence/10 year sentence/life sentence for something so minor – the duration of sentence or amount of fine isn’t something the Judge imposes as per his whims and fancies, but is clearly laid out in a penal code. Punishment for theft will have a low minimum to high maximum, and and judges – who see numerous theft cases everyday – know how to distinguish big crimes from small ones.

    Unless someone frabricated evidence of course, like we saw earlier in the Show.

        I would suggest making your own kimchi if you can. It’s time consuming, but not hard to make and you’re going to get a much bigger batch than store bought. Plus, you can control the ripeness better. Also, you can choose the type of kimchi you want to make! Yeah, all that depends on if you can get Napa, Sweet Rice Flour, Gochugaru, Fish Sauce etc. Yeah, buy the ready made kimchi if you can. lol

Pretty Noona who buys me food
I finally managed to finish episode 1 and I am now in episode 4. There is sth off about this drama that I feel the writer failed to include, that is did Jin-A actually liked him before he left? Because there was a lil bit of jealousy going on with her. I am saying this because, I have a close relationship with my younger brother’s friend. We are close like can I dare say Jin-A and and Joon-Hee not in the romantic sense. I buy him food or at times even cook for him. He sometimes acts as my chauffeur if I want to go out cos he offers. He can stay up to a month or more in our house. Last year during Ramadan we all ate together for iftaar and so on. Even now we chat and call often too
Back to the drama
Ji-An’s mother found it weird that Joon hee acted as her BF. For me its not weird cos my brothers friend can do that for me too….So after the long post(sorry beanies) my thought is that she might have liked him before he left or the writer did not show enough development and just delve into the romance…..

    IMHO, I think they always liked each other as friends as well as noona/dongsaeng but they wouldn’t have fallen in love if he hadn’t have been away for so long.

    They’ve never answered the question about Ji-an but they did answer it about him. He didn’t think of her that way until he returned and ‘saw her at a distance’ and thought she was pretty before he ‘knew it was her’.

    That distance is what was important for both of them.

After watching my ahjusshi episode 14
What do I do? Do I just go back to my normal life, like nothing is wrong? I cried for like 2 hours after watching it. I kept on listening to this ost and was crying also…. 😭 😭 how do I move on? But I have already, I think……

I guess I am just emotionally invested….

Just like @greenfields said, While watching Namwoo, it was like looking at myself in the mirror. Like a doppelgänger or sth. I was shocked honestly. Asking my self these questions: Why will I try hard? What\’s the use of working hard when things don\’t work out….stuffs like that……

I am done with my exams finally….I should be happy right? But after today\’s paper, I felt kind of empty. Has anyone ever felt that way before??? But never the less will pick up on dramas…

    I always feel that way after my final exams and papers. You pour so much blood, sweat, and tears into it, and then when it’s done you’re just like… what now?

    I don’t know about you guys, but dramas always seem less tempting or exciting to me after the exams are over! haha

    it happens with me always. I do so much planning while preparing for exam that ill do this n that (esp sleeping) once its done.. and last day when you back home nothing feels normal. as if something big part of life is missing not even get sleep… but it gets back normal in a day or two.

    so just get to last episode of APAD and you’ll feel more than normal…hehehe (APAD promotion)
