You type your status somewhere else (Notepad, any text editor basically), copy it, and paste it using your mouse. No Ctrl+V, you have to use your mouse to paste. Not sure for mobile users though?
You add shows to your “My Shows” by going to a shows home page and clicking the “favorites” button located near the top. The favorite button is also on all the recaps for easy access.
Adding your favorite shows
1- Use website’s search to find recaps and posts about specific dramas
2- Click on the blue “favorite” button on the show’s banner. Even shows DB isn’t recapping might have a banner because they’ll use it for posts about premieres etc.
3- The chosen state now says “favorited” and you’ll see it in your account “My Shows” page.
Using styles in your comments
I don’t think I can use [pre] tags here so imagine that every

Adding longer comments to your fan wall:
1- Type your comment with desired styles in a separate file
2- Paste using command-v (or whatever your keyboard shortcut is) directly into the text field. Do not do anything else—your text will be truncated to the character count. You will be able to add up to four photographs regardless of your text length.
the open and closed brackets disappeared when I published this comment. If you’re using an English language keyboard, it’s the brackets on the comma and period keys.
If you’re using Chrome, you can right click, choose “inspect” and look at the code to see the styles too.
Thank you! You guys are heaven-sent! Haha,I’m actually working right now so I’ll try all of your helpful suggestions when I get home 6 hours later. Have a nice day! ^_^
@tsutsuloo by separate file, you mean something like MS Word? Do I have to write my comment using Ms Word and then cut & paste here? I tried just now and my comment was truncated to the character count. 🙁
I apologize; I was wrong about using keyboard shortcuts. You have to do it via your mouse right click. (I just tested.) Word, Text, Notepad, etc. all work. Note that you still have to do the styles manually with the angle brackets in order for styles to display correctly in DB.
If you’re on a desktop, try the cut and paste with your mouse commands. Adding anything extra once you’ve pasted will snick! truncate your longer posts.
@tsutsuloo has already answered your question and added a few more handy suggestions..
I would also like to add, post about things you want to on your fan wall.. You can post images, gifs, videos and links..
You can also “follow” other beanies by going on their profile page and clicking on the “follow” tab.. You can upvote posts/comments you like and in general just explore other beanies’s fan walls :)… To see recent posts, click on the “beanies” tab on the top of the page and scroll down and click on “more fan posts”..
All these activities will lead to level upgrades which are just fun things and don’t really give you any advantages or anything..
HEEEEEEELP! I\’m new here, as in I just joined a few minutes ago HEHEHE. But I\’ve been reading DB recaps since college but never really felt the need to comment/register until now.
I was reading the recap for Jugglers’ ep 10 and I just can’t stop smiling from the very good vibes that that show has been giving me (I still have those good vibes in the form of a very wide smile up until now even though I’ve already watched the ep 2 nights ago) and I just can’t help but comment and share my thoughts! Haha, figured after commenting that I wouldn’t want to see that *unregistered* thingy below my name when my comment got posted and so I decided to hit that register button above.
Any tips on how to navigate around here? Nice meeting you, btw. 🙂
Glad you decided to join the fun! I’m not watching Jugglers but I’ve heard it’s super cute 🙂
If you want to change what notifications you get (and whether you get emails for your notifications) you can do that by clicking your profile pic in the upper right corner of the page and click notification settings.
Also, to get around the 200 character limit on the fanwall, you can write the comment elsewhere and copy paste it in. I think you can’t use the keyboard shortcuts for copy paste; you need to do it the other way.
If you want to do italics, bold, or strikethrough you can use html codes. I never use those but I’m sure other beanies can tell you the codes.
If you want to include a picture or gif in a comment, you can use the html code
{img src=”the link of the picture” /} but change the curly brackets to pointy brackets.
That’s all I can think of for now but if you have any questions, please let me know 🙂
Hey! Welcome! I’ve been a dramabeans reader since I was in college (which was 4-5years ago), but I decided to join the Because this is my first life party on the fanwall last Nov. It’s been fun and everyone here are so great! Besides, i want to share my addiction to dramas in a right place hehe (cant really talk about it on personal accounts, since my friends will give me the side eyes/eyes roll on my love to Kdrama lol)
have fun!
