Y’all, we can make fun of Cinderella and the 4 Knights all day for this Makjang Candy mess, but I’m rewatching and the end of ep 2 has me sobbing like a baby. Park So Dammmmmm

Yes, I realize that my taste in dramas is trash. But it’s my taste, so I’ll just have to live with it ~

Also my sister is watching with me and she’s fighting so hard to make the case that the secretary dude is the most important knight of the four…

Right now he has umbrella holding, cooking, and covert video camera-ing going for him (what? Obviously he took the sneak videos of the three other knights for the chairman’s slideshow presentation to Park So Dam)

Human-Cat-Beverage Being with trash taste sounds absolutely delightful to me!

Is it great? No. Did I care when I was watching it? No.

Oh my gosh Coco, the one thing I hate about this drama (well, that I remember two years after watching) is that the secretary didn’t get a satisfying ending for me. I want HIS story. Or maybe I just wanted…….well anyway, I’m team secretary is the bestest knight too.

Yup he was definitely the best knight.

I was trying to recall what I disliked about the finale, and I could only think of the crying designer getting a happy ending, and the birth secret fake out. I blocked the Secretary never reaching his potential from my memory ~ thanks for reminding me before I was disappointed again

Oooh yes, now that I think of it, that is the Mr Secretary I should have included in my Errand Boy Saga!

I like this drama and still listen to the OST. Who cares if it descended into Candy makjang. *shrugs*

HOW did we not remember him when giffing that epic?!

This is my go to drama for drunk gifs, (Jung Il Woo with finger hearts), and the OST is in my background music rotation.

Honestly, the best part of dramas when I came to them was the cheesy forget the rules of real life laugh and enjoy nature of them ~ it’s fun to just laugh and swoon and not think too deeply. And, somehow, part of it still gets you in the heart. Like Park So Dam and Jung Il Woo just trying to get by, and Secretary justifying the manipulative actions of the ceo who has been his main family for so long… sorry over analyzing again 🥰

I would have stuck with it but that seamstress/designer girl was dreadful, I felt so bad for Ahn Jae-hyun that he had to be partnered with that drip, blechy.

This drama is objectively terrible, and I can’t say I loved it – but I will very likely re-watch it someday (sooner rather than later now, it seems). It’s a testament to how charming actors can make even the most derivative and trope-y drivel work. And how one bad cast member can bring scenes to a screeching halt (do I need to say who?). Plus the soundtrack was solid and it was mostly cute if you turned your brain off.

Also, Ahn Jae-hyun’s moping and pulling leaves “she loves me, she loves me not” shtick while Park So-dam was trying to reason with him is legit one of the funniest things he’s done and really endeared him to me after this drama.
