      I actually thought she would survive, so stupid of me! All the signs were there, nice mom, long touchy speech from the first episode, setting her up with Hyun and of course the fact that kdrama doctors always manage to save everyone besides their family in the last minute. Yet I didn’t see it coming. I blame the fact that 70% of my focus was on how cute KMH is

        This drama is so deliciously melodramatic with a sprinkling of cheese on top. I’m loving it thus far.

        And yeah, the whole mom dying thing was similar to the very first scene of the show on the boat. Given what they showed us could happen, you knew it would happen again. That and they needed a catalyst for her to go from the hospital to the ship, ergo, bye bye mom.

          Deliciously melodramatic is a spot on description! As soon as she got that axe at the end of episode 4 I started screaming and closed my eyes, that was really good. But poor guy :c At least we got our cute trio as a relief.
          Yes, the mom obviously had to go for her to end up on the hospital ship *sigh* nice moms in dramas really have it bad
