    I freaking LOVED this drama. It felt so incredibly real despite the time jumping. This couple had incredible chemistry.

      Yes! It is hard to come by this kind of love potrayal in kdramaland where it felt adult-like and mature with all the complications of marriage but still cute and adorable.

I am so disappointed with ruler episode 4 ending. Is there even a point to the mask anymore?

    The mask strategy may be pointless now against Dae Mok which is a no issue for me because I’m not really fond of the idea of using it to fool Dae Mok. They better go against him head to head (or is it face to face? LOL). But I understand that we can’t just simply put the mask out of the equation since it needs to be recognize from its real owner. People needs to know that the true face behind that mask struggled his way to become a great king for them. So it is where the point of the mask lies.. the symbolism and all.

So cute! Only in kdramas, do I see these kind of food presentations! I feel like I am warming upto my secret romance after ep 4. Its a breezy watch and mostly feels like a mills & boon romance novel.

      Yeah, also I liked that when chan young came to tell him to stay away from so rim again, han gyul argued back to mind his own business. It seemed like he was finally acknowledging his feelings for her.
