Beanie level: Jang Geu-rae

I didn’t know until it happened, but I needed a kdrama to start with a motorcycle ride with Beat It playing in the background.

Looking at the guest list, the men to women ratio at this wedding is quite lopsided 😁

How many Netflix Kdramas and only Kdramas do I have to watch for them to get that I watch Kdramas? Stop sending me random notices to my phone about all the other shows… possibly experiencing DF PTSD

I love the collective Beanie wall spas-fest. Previously, 17/30. Now up, Gangam Beauty. What’s next πŸ™‚ ?

I think I had more feelings about the one episode, If I Were A Season than I have about many 16-episode dramas.

Well, I am ready for Age of Youth 3 to start….

So, when is the next robot rom-fi starting?

Upon further reflection, I have decided that I love the genere of romantic sci-fi.

Best parts of WWWSK,Yoo Shik (get him the lead in a comedy) and the child actor who played Young Joon!

Even Shin is not sure why they all went crazy to protect a position that he didn’t even want. Does the plot hole get better or worse when a character points it out?

I thought that the point was that they were wanting it all on his behalf – or thought he wanted it – but never actually checked with him. Or never knew him well enough to understand that this is a golden cage for him.

So in order to get him something that he has no interest in, they did the thing to him that he’s feared most ever since he was a little boy: replace him with a robot who does what his mum tells him.

    Oh the irony…

I love how much emotional sense that makes!

I find it equally problematic that they spent how many episodes saying that they had to activate a kill switch if Shin wakes up so that a robot doesn’t have Shin’s face and memories without his permission and now they seem to have dropped it? (Not to mention, I think the same problem applies even if he was in a coma.) This show raises all of these incredible questions and then seems to drop them. If it picks up even half of the threads, it will be a great show… But I’m not holding my breathe.

That poor kid just wants to live HIS life by making his OWN decisions and all these idiot are doing their best by ‘protecting’ something he doesn’t even want and then acting all holier-than-thou. No wonder he’s got rage issues!

And now So Bong is protecting Shinammon by giving him half truths about what is going on. Sigh. He just needs to walk around holding everyone’s hand all the time because no one here knows how to tell the truth.

I took a Humanities class in college where all I read and watched was robot media…the question was what makes us human? So we read iRobot, Rossums Universal Robots, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?. Frankenstein, etc and watched films such as WallE, Blade Runner, AI, and more so I am all here for the robot kdrama trend πŸ˜€

Forget the shipping wars, I’m just glad that Bo Young’s personality returned!

It’s settled. I’m on ship Three Musketeers. It’s partially because of Min Ho, but also those three are just are too fun. You learn about a person by the company that they keep! πŸ™‚

Evergreen, I know that I fast forwarded a lot, but I don’t think I missed enough to explain your gapping plot holes! Not sure why I kept watching, but I do really love the idea of the Tree of Doom!

I didn’t skip anything, but I feel like I did ’cause I’m confused. I told myself I would choose better dramas this year and so far I was doing good, but man I was lured in and I couldn’t get out.

Same man, same. I think maybe I love main leads way too much that I was hoping the drama would give them some justice.

how did the show end? they couldn’t be together because she drank tree;s pollens right

From what I understood the heirs in charge of the tree are cursed so regardless of her drinking the pollen or not she was going to suffer and die later on since he loves her. So he ends up drinking the pollen too and forgets his memory, except for his geniusness, and goes to Germany either way. Three years later he comes back and is looking for the girl he loved. His brother and grandpa are worried, but oh well it’s fate. He finds her. The end. I’m not sure I’m correct though because I seriously got lost in the last episode, lol😂.

I think it was actually an interesting idea for a story with a great melancholy twist, but the execution was so terrible! The writer should have given the idea to a better writer, and maybe director. Hopefully the actors find something better next time!

That’s why I kept watching because are both too cute, but, le sigh, they didn’t pick a good project😢

This is great. Usually I’m so bored with corporate drama, but I love Riel so much I’m still invested because I want her to give the smack down πŸ™‚
