I am glad for Kim Hee-ae, Kim Young-Min, Kim Sun Young, Han So Hee and Jeon Yeo-bin’s nominations especially🤗👏👏 but no Han Suk Kyu, Shin Hyun-bin, Jang Nara..

    Hmm … Yeah. I know ratings have always mattered but Baeksang sometimes threw others a bone. Ratings really mattered this year, but I can at least make a case for everyone not from Itaewon Class.
    But I would have liked to have seen nominations for the ladies of Black Dog, Jang Hyuk for My Country, maybe one of the ladies of WWW, more for Be Melodramatic. Oh well.

    I almost couldn’t recognize Shin Hyun-bin in that photo. She looks so different as Gyeo-wool.

      True, I think it is a testament to her skill but just generally it is amazing how with the glasses and ponytail she looks so different. On the show I thought she was a 25 year rookie but she is actually 34 with a pretty lengthy career

Sky Castle and TWOTM\’s record ratings show that it is all about having an good, engaging first half/quarter because it does not matter if you bomb the second part, people will keep on watching

    I think TWOTM has been pretty even, the only episode a little different was ep 6 and only because it was far better than the others.

    I thought it was pretty surprising that the FL was interesting and didn’t care much about the male lead but then this happened. If the female lead needs to be different then well the second lead stands right there. JEC ‘s character is well disappointing but let’s say it’s not disappointing enough because I knew KES will write one such character, thankfully it isn’t the female lead… yet.

    I only watched the first episode, but I was like: a Prime Minister dressed like she was attending a party and flirting with the King and suggesting the should get married. And she is the most important and relevant person in the country? I just don’t want to think about the rest of the politicians…
    And I’m not even talking about the stilettos in the stables. I would have killed the director if I were the actress.

      i keep on thinking JEC is the biggest loser coming out of this drama. The media has revealed a previous relationship with a married man and her character has no real connection to the storyline, gets the worst lines and it does not seem that she get any loveline, just spending all her time being jealous.

    I suddenly want to watch a drama with a quarantine plot. Watching people struggle to entertain themselves in a lockdown seems interesting. Realistically speaking though, I think they’ll just watch dramas in that drama, too.
