I think that hospital playlist lacks an overall end goal, there is nothing that the characters are aiming for in the grand scheme of things unlike in Prison Playbook and the Reply series.

    I think the biggest problem is that they clearly do not have a road map on the character arch since they do not have e definite ending to their story as they hope for another season… PD said at the press conference that they do not have a decide ending… shame I think. Since they do not know where to take this story and characters with a clear narrative with a goal as you say.

        Nooo, it’s normal to feel lost at that stage. It’s just the way information is slowly revealed in the drama. The timeline is really convoluted, but eventually everything is explained and it feels rewarding

    Agree with all of these responses. Give it some time. It’s a slow burn but it’s definitely gratifying.

The Cursed just does not seem to be working right for me. I find it lacks the layered complexity of other TVN thrillers like Secret Forest and that making the CEO an evil spirit is a bit of a cop out.

      Ugh, I hated the last 8 minutes of Tune in For Love… The rest was pretty nice. I hope whatever the project is it’s like the movie in its most part except for that ending lap.

        I finally watched Tune In for Love and it was ever so slightly underwhelming, but the main couple’s interactions were great. Kinda wish it has been a mini-series instead…

      Yeah I love romances and I don’t think that they are a waste of time or anything. But he does have so much talent for displaying a variety of characters so I do hope for him to maybe be in an intense political thriller or something.

I dropped Coffee Prince again at Ep 8. It does not work for me for different reasons but it does have such amazing lead performances.

    TBH never understood the hype about it. I think I watched till this episode or a little longer and then stuck with recaps to finish the show.

      I found dramabeans 10 years ago by googling Coffee Prince episode synopsis. I had never heard of a recap before. So I always have a fond memory of CP because it led me to DB, and I fell in love with JB’s recaps, but I didn’t like the show itself much. I rewatched it two years ago and same.

        I did the same for Heirs. Hated the show but wanted to know what still happened in the show. Searched for recaps and stumbled on DB which were the only ones also criticizing the show while others just fangirled on the stars. Haven’t left DB since then.
