In essence of Love February, I thought sharing my love for Perfume aka my favourite 2019 drama which also has my favourite bookworm, Seo Yi Do is a must 💜. Yi Do reads in nearly all his freetime scenes. He even reads in dream sequences. He narrates and talk books.

No drama made me google books/literature pieces as much as Perfume did. Even KBS uploaded a list of books used in Perfume on its official instagram.

I loved that the books were used to express Yi Do and Jae Hee’s feelings or to explain a situation. The books weren’t just props or said in passing. I can sense the writer did immense research to integrate many books into the script and scenes. It made me appreciate the drama even more 👩🏻‍🏫.
