The Drama with the Most Uncontrollable Urge to Ship: Avengers Social Club
Is it really so morally wrong to ship the underage son with his stepmom?
Yes, it is, kimbap. It truly is.
*slaps self left *slaps self right
Honorable Mention: Avengers Social Club, aka โThe Drama That Makes Me Ship the Underage Sonโs Underage Friend Who Makes Seafood Ramen for Stepmom Morning After Heavy Drinking”
I have also wrote a sequel in my mind for ASC in which the story begins withthe now divorced FML and her no-longer son return together to the seaside town where he grew up cooking lots of seafood ramen when her two ahjumma BFFs join them to start a little investigative (which leads to again not so successful avenging) agency for the town folks in the area.
😂 The show was intentionally teasing us very irresponsibly @dokutokunaneko, but somehow I couldn’t get mad at it…..probably personal shame prevented from doing it.
In the end they really needed one another. Honestly, he needed a paternal adult and those ladies were as close as he had and I was happy for him. A romantic aspect really would have felt off in the end and totally out of character for Jung hye.
The fact that embarrassment is an emotion you could still readily identify here @cloggie means that you are a much more of an upstanding citizen of the world than me.
Well, all I’ll say that they wouldn’t be the most problematic otp in kdramaland. Only very very close to the most problematic otp… But – I still remember her ex-husband saying that they weren’t family anymore after the divorce, so there’s that
Well I don’t think I’d have the heart for this if I’ll be rooting for a ship that shouldn’t happen. 😅
I already did that with Angry Mom even if he wasn’t the son but the shipping hurts. 😂😫
I can’t beanies, I can’t.

And Jung hye not knowing the price of ramen will never not be funny. She was straight gonna up throw hundreds of dollars at it.

The value of the ramen for her certain is much much more than the cost!! 🤣🤣🤣
Her serious cluelessness is so endearing.

This was a great series that really should have a special or second season. Maybe open a agency.

This is the ship that tested many of our morals. If it’s so bad, then why does it feel so good. lmao.

🤣🤣🤣That’s right @1tea1, we should just trust our innate feelings!! Following human instincts never led anyone down the dark path I’d say.

Absolutely, @ally-le!! Shipping amorally would be a much less lonely experience with a group watch! Recommend!!

Ah yes, maybe that’s the one redeeming value for the husband, @cloggie. He singlehandedly downgraded the problematic ship from incest to fauxcest.
