I slept on my post from yesterday
and decided to take a walk this morning to the library

I’ve borrowed @azzo1 ‘s favorite book
(it’ll be my commute time companion after I finish Go go squid next week)

and The Lord of the Rings Trilogy audiobooks,
trying audiobooks for the first time, inspired by @artgirl
(it’ll be my jigsaw puzzle companion, will alternate it with music)

Audiobook is a revelation to me. I never expected myself to love that so much (and it’s definitely a fun way for me to improve my English listening skill).

(my English listening skill is lacking with all that asian drama watching / asian music listening ^^’)

There is a site I used to use called LibriVox. It has free audiobooks of classics read by volunteers. The majority are read in English, but they have some in other languages as well. The reading quality can vary, but some books have more than one version and you can pick which reader you like better. Just an idea 🙂

Awww! Also, YAY 🎆🥳

I hope you enjoy it even if you don’t end up loving it as much as I do (I’m obsessed with it, like I’ve written actual poetry for this book, I’ve said things like “this is how falling in love must feel like”, yes, you can cringe 😂☺️).
