Beanie level: Rooftop room dweller

After seeing Kim Min ha on House On Wheels 4, I want her and Rowoon to do a cooking variety show together. They would be absolutely funny and so adorable together.

It was nice to see them confortable with each other on the second day. Kim Min-Ha who couldn’t cut the tail and Rowoon who did it so easily was really funny.

Rowoon is a great addition to House on Wheels.

I just realized I current don’t have a cdrama on my list. The last one I watched was Word of Honor. Based on the few Beanies who commented, Love Between Fairy and Devil?

Yes! Love between fairy and devil is strong on many fronts. The story didn’t drag, the costumes are wonderful and the cast are good. It’s only my second Cdrama but I would totally recommend it.

LBFAD will be available on Netflix in my country this 30th Oct and I don’t know how I can make that day come sooner. I watched it once already on my laptop but it didn’t do the show Justice. I need a big screen to see all the fine details of the show.

Definitely LBFD – it’s also on Viki. And another excellent one is You are My Glory (with Yang Yang and Dihlraba) and features a very healthy relationship, though a bit over the top on nationalism.
Right now I’m watching A Romance in the Little Forest with Esther Yu and it’s very sweet (as long as I ff through the 2nd couple story). It’s a slow burn romance but very sweet and again the OST is great.

Thanks for the suggestions! I haven’t been able to watch anything after LBFD! I need something nice to watch!

Just from the 1st episode, I don’t see how I can binge it. The once a week is enough for me so I can recoup my feelings :).

@larelle79: Thank you for your post. I adore it in such a visceral way and it just happened so quickly even if the first 2 eps are wonderfully poignant. The acting of the two main leads is exemplary. Meguro Ren’s acting is something to behold. They way he expressed his grief without overacting or shedding fake induced tears was heart rending. As was Kawaguchi Haruna’s. I hope it will deal sensitively with the world of deaf people who don’t want to be pitied and should not be, his personal grief notwithstanding. I honestly cannot wait to see more of this series. Let’s unite and recommend it to any and all Beanies!

@larelle79 it sounds like this could be the equivalent of Love between fairy and devil which was promoted hard in fan wall posts and the what we are watching each week by several beanies. As that is the key place for beanies to learn about must watch dramas having more than one person mentioning it there will be key. If the beanie whose wife is all over the Chinese historical shows becomes interested that will help as well as he is quite good and flagging up shows consistently. Good luck with your mission and thanks both of you for flagging up what sounds like a hidden gem.

Emma, the ending of episode 2 just tore me up. All the years of pent up emotions from Sakara (and yes, Meguro Ren was amazing in the episodes, but particularly that scene. That is the one that needs to be submitted for all the awards).

Episode 2 was still the same. Yeah, hearts will be broken by all in this series, including the viewers. Here is hoping that the towards to end of the run, healing will be next because there are no horrible people that were introduced and all deserve the moon and happiness.

FYI, jdrama SILENT (10 or 11 episodes?) is available on VIki US.

@larelle79: “Silent” only has one episode a week and only 11 eps! That is too short a run for this gem of a drama!

They are really going. I guess I better buy that BTS merch to go with my crow. I thought for sure the money was gonna be the reason for the exemption.

I walked into the room, glanced at CNN on the tv and it was showing BTS going to the military. News in the US! Gotta love it.

In the article it explains why he refrained from high-fiving multiple fans in the front section.. It wasn’t necessarily towards the black fan but it definitely could be taken out of context.

No. There is video. It clearly shows him waving his hand ‘no’, going past them and continues down the line. Nice try. He didn’t deny it, he meant it and his statement basically is saying its their fault that he will no longer high five anyone. Again, he did not deny it. And again, nice try.

My comment is based off the statement that he posted. I haven’t watched the video but I don’t really like the tone in which your writing me in. So this will be my last comment on your post.

I really don’t care. You chose to take that tone in replying to my comment and if you can’t take what you start, do start it at all.

@larelle79: I agree that it looks appalling. I’ve seen a few videos from different angles where he clearly refuses to interact with some fans. Unless there is a cogent explanation for his conduct, it is not surprising that there has been a backlash.

Bad Prosecutor makes no sense. Either make it an outlandish, unrealistic show, or don’t. And to make the female lead sole job to shriek and get the male lead to do his job. No. Just no.

Not one story about Lee Jung jae’s and Hwang Dong hyuk’s historic run up to their Emmy wins. This is a huge deal.

Attorney Woo. *sigh* I have wrote you off show. I am so glad you are ending. But you are a kdrama and that is that.

Attorney Woo. I cannot believe they wrote Sunshine like that. Wait, I can because that is all kdrama know at this point. Good this show is ending.

Atty Woo, ep 13. I am very disappointed in your show. On TWO fronts. Why??? Why???!!!!

2
1

I wonder if your two fronts are the same as my two fronts.

    1. If you knew this relationship was going to be hard , why did you neither prep Youngwoo nor your sister and brother-in-law of Youngwoo’s condition? Junho! Planning a meeting with family is different than running into friends on the street. You did your own research about people with autism so you can expect the unexpected yet when you PLAN a meeting you decide to keep everyone in the dark? Autism doesnt need to be at the forefront of everything but a little foreknowledge/heads up would have been helpful for both parties!!!
    2. Why is our Spring Sunshine falling for KwonMinwoo?????? Like what? After how he treats Youngwoo? After seeing how sneaky he is? His redemption arc is that he is the head of the household for his sick family? That absolves him of how he treats people different than him?????

Ok rant over. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk

Atty Woo. It took 13 episodes, but we finally got Atty Jung, Gue rami and Hairy Boss in scenes together and they were delightful.

Atty Woo. I liked Lawyer Ryu, the plantiff’s attorney, in this episode. It’s almost like she is who Young woo is going to be in the future.

5
2

Yes! I was thinking Young-woo might have to leave Hanbada, not by choice, and might come to Lawyer Ryu or even be defended by Lawyer Ryu.

But then, after the last little scene, I thought Atty. Jung might be on the verge of an epiphany, and might also leave to start his own firm. And Young-woo might be happy there, too.

Atty Woo. Min woo is gonna fall hard. And it is gonna be glorious. 2 of the most powerful women in the law profession he now has on his radar for all the wrong reason. Dummy.

The Good Detective 2 is this weekend. I’m ready.

Atty Woo. So Min woo is gonna be that person. May his fall be hard and his behind never heals from it.

    I second.

He is starting to make some mighty powerful enemies at a very young age. Even if his contract is not renewed at Hanbada, who is gonna hire him after pissing her off.

Oh, you thought the same thing too. I have a feeling it’s CEO Han that would deal with his pesky self too. Tae Su Mi has bigger fish to fry.

Atty Woo. Hairy and Sunshine’s dinner date was just so funny. I can see them trying again though. They can balance each other out.

Atty Woo. Min woo out here in these kdrama streets acting surprised that people really think that way about him and have no problem saying it. 🙂

Atty Woo. Min woo, dude, what is your problem. Following around YW and then calling her shameless. She didn’t her Dad and CEO’s relationship and the gaul to think he is entitled to it.

Attorney Woo. Imma just call Su yeon ‘Sunshine’ from now on. Even when she is being brassy and calling people out, she is still sunshine.
