Just stopping by to post this.
I haven’t seen What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim but someone put both of Park Seo Jun’s characters Young Jun and Dong Man together in a video.

Here’s part 2 for those who didn’t die of boredom reading part 1. Again, this post is dedicated to the curious @ally-le.

WEEK 2

Day 8: Headed to Sangju, the place where I lived and worked for 2 years. Met up with a friend who was on holiday for brunch whilst my other friends were still at work. Then met up with the rest of the gang and had shabu shabu (hot pot) before heading to our local bar lounge. We had a few drinks, played darts and Jenga.

Day 9: Sangju is well known for being the bicycle town, so we went on a bike ride. But what was a 3 hour journey turned to a painful 5 hours as it was so soooooooo windy. We were exhausted by the end of it and had to take a siesta. Woke up and decided to grab a pizza and fries from Mom’s Touch. Went over to another friend’s apartment and played games together.

Day 10: Chilled with friends over Baskin Robbins before heading back to Seoul. Arrived in Seoul and headed to a language meet where I met up with people I saw before I left Korea. After the language meet, we had our first round which was Korean BBQ then we moved on to the second round of doing to a bar and drinking. Koreans party hard I swear. Didn’t go home until 3am.

Day 11: A friend was coming up to Seoul to meet me so I wanted to do something special. We went and tried Korean school uniform as a joke. It was super fun. We then went to fill our bellies with food but somehow ended up chatting and eating for 5 hours at the same restaurant. Luckily we weren’t kicked out.

Day 12: Randomly discovered that another friend had recently come back to Korea to work and she wanted to hang out, so we did. Went to the COEX library again and then headed to this random cafe near Seongsu Station. It had a giant ball pool in the middle. You just had to buy a drink to go in and play. So random but a lot of fun.

Day 13: Korea has a lot of good Escape Rooms, so my friend who was housing me in Seoul asked if I wanted to try one out. I’ve done 2 before so I was excited to do another. We managed to solve it with 23 minutes to spare. Another friend who was with us needed to go to Myeongdong so we headed over there on the subway. Suddenly we get a call from a Korean person and we both freak out. My Korean is pretty limited so I didn’t know what to say. Anyway…turns out my friend dropped her wallet back where we got on at Gangnam Station. Luckily we got it back (THANK YOU KOREA) but we did spend over an hour taking the subway…LOL. In the evening, I met up with some other friends and we had naengmyeon (cold noodles) and my final Sul Bing – Green Tea and Strawberry bingsu.

Day 14: LEAVING KOREA πŸ™

The End.

Thanks for the sweet dedication! And it sounds as if you have lovely friends.

Ok, I totally want to try some of that green tea and strawberry bingsu! Looks delish! 😊

Sounds like you’ve had a great time!

OMG do it. Although the green tea ice cream was a bit too bitter and strange tasting to me.

I dedicated the following two posts to @ally-le who wanted to know about my adventures in Korea. This is part 1 of 2.

WEEK 1

Day 1: Landed in the morning and was greeted by BTS (if only for real). Somehow made my way to my friend’s house in my super tired state. We went and ate some ddeokbokki for brunch/lunch before my friend had to get back to her studies. I was tempted to just crash and burn out but made myself go to this exhibition in Daelim Museum called [Paper, Present], which was super cool. Went back to my friend’s place and we did an E-mart trip before I peaced out for the night.

Day 2: Woke up pretty late and slowly left the house to explore. Went to the giant COEX library (which is next to the SM Store for those who like their artists) and chilled. Met up with two friends in Gangnam, grabbed some food and desserts then chatted until 12am. Thank goodness transportation in Korea run late.

Day 3: Briefly met up with another friend who lived near the Olympic Park and then went exploring by myself. In the evening, I had dinner with my old classmates from Sogang University. We had different types of Korean pancakes and side dishes before moving onto Sul Bing (a chain dessert store) for the new chocolate cereal bingsu. To help us digest, we went to a board game cafe and played a few games, Jenga Blast and Rummikub. Went home but didn’t actually go to sleep since I had to catch a train at 5.50am…

Day 4: …made it to Seoul Station and passed out on my 5 hours+ Mugunghwa train to Busan. (I didn’t encounter any zombies and even if I did, I’m pretty sure they would have assumed I was dead.) I came to Busan for a friend’s wedding and she organised a small hen party for all her friends who came to Korea. We all met up and spent 2 hours making our very own wooden rings. That was a pretty cool experience. Met up with another friend who moved to Busan and had some form of jjigae (stew) before going to the arcade and losing money to claw machines. Met up again with the people from the hen party event and hung out at Haeundae Beach, watching fireworks, listening to the sea and eating melona bars.

Day 5: WEDDING DAY!! Korean weddings always surprise me by how quick they go. My friend looked amazing. Most of us cried but the buffet lunch saved us. I had to dash and head straight to Pohang to meet another friend so hopped on a bus and took a nap. Took a taxi to my friend’s place and had the most Korean conversation with the taxi driver, who after finding out my age, insisted that I needed to get married ASAP. Arrived at my friend’s place and she took me on a bike ride to the beach, where we chilled and caught up with each other’s lives.

Day 6: Woke up and set off to Daegu to meet my first real close Korean friend/tutor. We met up in downtown Daegu and had Korean street food, sundae, ddeokbokki, mini Korean pancakes…etc. then another round of Sul Bing…this time strawberry bingsu. We also went to the Kyobo Bookstore to look for books of poems. (I blame APAD for the influence). Met up with another friend and headed back to her place to fangirl over BTS.

Day 7: We were suppose to go on a hike but instead we just chilled in a park. Had sundae gukbab and you guessed it, another round of Sul Bing – Mango bingsu. We then went to a baseball game: Samsung Lions vs SK Wyverns. The game was actually rather disappointing as both teams kind of sucked and the yellow dust pollution wasn’t making it fun to sit in. But we had a good time.

That’s the end of part 1. Stay tuned for part 2. Or not.

such a fun and exciting trip it was. are you from korea, just wondering cause you met so many friends there…?

    1
    1

No…I just went there for a year working holiday which turned into 3 years so accumulated a lot of good friends there.

Took a taxi to my friend’s place and had the most Korean conversation with the taxi driver, who after finding out my age, insisted that I needed to get married ASAP.

Did he have a son of marriageable age and did he insist on setting you up on a blind date? Or did you accidentally meet that son on the beach? That’s the only thing missing to make this a proper kdrama-style adventure.

    1

I have no idea. But the last part of our conversation went like this:

      Me: Drive safely.
      Taxi Driver: Get married soon.

      11
      1

I have a brother of marriageable age too, but we’ve given up on him ever getting married!

        1
        2

Well both me and my brother are of marriageable age (aren’t we all when we hit 18?) but hey…we all live on our own timeline.

My parents have finally given up on me getting married. Or maybe they’ve given up on talking to me about it.

i’m thankful that my mum and dad don’t care about that. They’re more concerned with whether I can buy myself a house LOL

Oh! It sounds so wonderful that you have so many Korean friends! I counted like 7 different people you met up with?

    1

Actually…most of them are foreigners who live in Korea. I only met up with one Korean friend in this part of the story.

Well…I’M BACK!!

And although I am completely behind on APAD, I promise I was still thinking of everyone on the MinHoYoung Ship. I even went to the bookstore to find the book. Sadly there wasn’t any with Minho on it and I feel like our ship is sinking fast. γ…  γ…

Sorry for leaving you guys during this tough time.

I’M BACK!
And I thought I’d share this blog as the writer makes lots of valid points that reassure me that BoHo Chic/MinHoYoung/Extreme Couple/Baby Couple Ship is real!!

welcome back πŸ™‚ , thanks I’ll check it later, still on MinHoYoung ship πŸ™‚ !

    1
    2

gosh , I just read all APAD articles on that blog, I didn’t need things to reassure me about our ship, but seriously now I’ve fallen deeper for MinHo πŸ™‚ . It was so so so enjoyable to read such comments about Dr. Ye : I’ve never warmed up to his character , I’ve never seen Yeline as end game, still can’t imagine/see/understand it, those analyses were saying what I couldn’t pinpoint myself about why I didn’t like Dr. Ye. β€œWhen you do it, it’s romance. When I do it, it’s adultery.” indeed this is relevant for all characters, I know MinHo is a jerk (but he’s improving) but he isn’t the only acting like a jerk there 😒!
So thank you 😘 sending flowers to you *ahem a special delivery boy πŸ˜‰ hahaha*

hahahaha same..when I first came across this blog I was just so happy that there was something about APAD but then the writer seemed to provide good support on how MinHoYoung Ship is sailing, I couldn’t help but check this blog regularly. And there’s so many points that they make which I’m thinking “Damn….our ship is strong.” Even if we aren’t end game, I’m kind of happy and content.

I couldn’t have known I’d be so happy reading those posts , so similar to my thoughts , thanks again πŸ™‚

        1

just dropping by to say I read the latest post on that blog , the explanation of the title and how it’s related to MinHoYoung : like the gif above, it made me so happy again, this blog is like an oasis compared to all the love I don’t share/understand for Dr. Ye I’ve seen on the net, so again nomu gomawo chingu-ya πŸ™‚ . Sorry but I might pop up like that , love all the insights from that blog hehe

          1
          3

hahaha I also went on to check if there was any updates and I’m glad the writer is blogging regularly. It’s really helping with the drama fix. And sharing is caring. So I’m glad you are enjoying the blog as much as me.

Welcome back!! And oo, that’s an interesting take..

    2
    1

Interesting theory…but I don’t want any serious illness for MinHo. If he rejected her in college because of that it would be noble idiocy and against his jerk behaviour so far.

Let me reassure you (even though I’m paddling towards Ye Liner) that BoHoShip has a solid chance thanks to some subtle writing. Mainly in this episode:

    1) Comfortable with skinship: Bo Young pushes and grabs Min Ho in a headlock. Yeah, she might be friendzoning him now but that would fit with enemies-turned-friends-turned-lovers tropes.
    2) She picked up his ‘just joking’ line and teases him back. She’s not accepting his insults anymore, so they are on more equal ground.
    3) Min Ho admitted he likes her. That is a huge step for him.

And… I should just go to bed and dream of fluffy cotton candy fields while I can.

    4
    1

Oh yeah me neither. It would seem out of character but I do wish there was some solid reason why he did what he did back then.

OH MAN…take me to your dreams too.

      1
      0

Welcome back!!! Thank you so much for that!!! I was kinda down today, but this cheer me up (Lately is so hard to find people that likes Min Ho, let alone this couple and episode 8 kinda did a number on me… so this put me in a better mood again πŸ˜€ )

    2
    1

Yeah there really isn’t many people out there who like this couple but I can see why and I guess it doesn’t bother me too much since we have such a great little group here that like them. But most importantly I’m glad it cheered you up. Don’t be too sad for too long or you’ll make Bo Young sad and Min Ho feel awkward.

      2
      1

Now I’m better, thank you πŸ˜€ The posts about them made me feel really better, even showing me thing that I didn’t notice/think before. :3

        1

Oh wow… I am seeing Min Ho in a new light…
    *same with Dr Ye* O.O

    2
    1

Welcome back!!! Thanks for sharing that blog! I love how ardently she defends MinHoYoung 🙂

    3
    1

I know she isn’t on either ships but I like her analysis as it helps us better understand the situation too.

      1
      0

I read every single APAD article. Omooo! I had the same theory that the “you” in “You Who Forgot Poetry” was MinHo all along!

    1
    1

hahaha…I never even thought of that. It’s pretty clever if the “poetry” does stand for Bo Young and it totally makes sense.

So……I forgot I would be away for this week’s Mon/Tue dramas which means I won’t be able to join the fanwall discussions but I’ll get back on Wed, just tag me if you need me.

BoHo Chic/MinHoYoung/Extreme Couple/Baby Couple/”Our ship has too many names” Ship Announcement!!

Just a weekend update and to welcome all the new recruits.

I have managed to find two Beanies to help us with some new roles onboard this ship:

@vicki27 – KPop Fitness Dance Instructor
As we have and will be having lots of parties and food, I figured it would be nice to have someone to help us exercise all those virtual calories away so this Beanie has got us covered and we can eat to our hearts content.

@tspmasala – Kimchi Mania and Security Guard
Infamous for having the spiciest kimchi on Dramabeans, this Beanie is going to help protect our ship from unwanted sabotage from the Ye Line (I’m looking at you @kimbapnoona) by giving the most powerful kimchi slap to the face, so beware.

And previously for your information:
@raonah – Captain of the MinHoYoung Ship
@Cloggie – Ship Analyst Consultant
@kudoran – Visual Media Management Provider
@bammsie – Banquet Catering Director
@letseatcookies (that’s me) – Human Resources and Emergency Supply Director

HAPPY WEEKEND MY FELLOW BEANIES!!

BoHo Chic/MinHoYoung/Extreme Couple Ship Announcement!!

I have finally made some title signs for the following members:

@raonah – Captain of the MinHoYoung Ship
@Cloggie – Ship Analyst Consultant
@kudoran – Visual Media Management Provider
@bammsie – Banquet Catering Director
@letseatcookies (that’s me) – Human Resources and Emergency Supply Director

Please feel free to put these on the front of your desk, but don’t drop it like B.A.P’s Yong Guk as ours are not made out of paper but glass.

As for the other members, don’t worry, I will be working on your titles and signs in the upcoming days/weeks.

OMG!!
Is this some foreshadowing to a break up?
Dong Gu won’t let you guys!!
Jun Ki Oppa don’t be a pabo and love Seo Jin to the end.

COME ON MIN HO!!
Some of us are rooting for you.
Prove that you can mature and get the girl.

Bo Young saves the day!
I like that they are getting to know each other slowly.
I feel like Bo Young liked him too quickly without truly knowing him.
And he…of course was an idiot for not appreciating or realising his own feelings for her until now.
Sigh…

Awwww puppy.

OMG!!
Without realising, I’m now Chaebol’s poor doppelganger.
I can’t think of any good examples and my brain is just focused on the doppelganger part, hence I present Jang Geun Suk in Switch.

BoHo Chic/MinHoYoung Shippers Reunite!!
I’m not ready for our puppy to get hurt.
I know he probably deserves this and needs this for character growth but…
just look at him T ^ T

Mon/Tues is approaching…
Can I just get a head count on how many beanies are on the BoHo Chic/MinHoYoung Ship??
Because I need to know who else is supporting this puppy.

HAHAHAHA I misread your post. I saw the slash and my mind automatically read “Ye Liner” — is the official reason. Since you’ve caught me, I’ll admit I’m here to spy and walk out gracefully.

*lots of love to you too* *until our next ship*
