Hi beanies, so I’ve failed in maths paper and I kind of was expecting this to happen because of all the disruption in my maths studies. I just kind of gave up midway.
Hey there, Mani-chan. I’ve been in your shoes many times before (I was horrible at maths all throughout primary and secondary school and I’m still pretty hopeless at it) and I know how much it sucks, especially because I come from a country that’s ranked within the top 5 for math scores or something like that. I always felt really bad because no matter how hard I tried, I just didn’t get it. Sometimes, it’s just like that.
If you weren’t able to prepare for the exam properly or if math is just not your forte (or maybe a little bit of both), it’s okay. Getting a not so great result seems really bad when you’re going through it, but I can say from experience that it’s not going to bring you down for the rest of your career as a student. You can overcome this, so please don’t be too hard on yourself!
I know it’s not much, but I hope you feel better. Rooting for you ♡
Thank you so much for the supportive words. I have confidence that I can do much better if i prepare well. It’s just that it will be really hard to break the news to my parents
I feel ya. I’m a math-illiterate with a financial economist for a dad. Every exam I had to break it to him that I had yet again flubbed my math paper 😅
I hope your parents will be understanding ♥️ And if they’re a little upset with you at first, don’t feel too disheartened. They’ll come around.
