If I’m reading this correctly, you want a cry-worthy sageuk? I’d suggest Seven Day Queen!

Do you want a good cry?
Then I suggest either “Marriage Contract” or “Mother” – both were very well done in all ways and made me blubber with tears long after they were done.
Beautiful beautiful stories about the healing power of love.

    If you’re not into Sageuk:
Just Between Lovers (Rain of Shine)
    Mother

DramaFever, Viki and KOCOWA are legal platforms where you can watch dramas

Netflix also has licensing to a few dramas as well, albeit under different names sometimes.

is it possible to download from there?

US here, that may affect it.
Dramafever will if you pay a higher membership rate. I feel like Netflix does too, but it’s a thing where you can only watch downloaded stuff as long as you keep your subscription current. I don’t think Viki or Kocowa do any downloads, though it may be a future feature for Kocowa

Yes, I have. I cried in Uncontrollably fond too, a lot. For Oh my venus, its kind of a fluffy light romance drama, that I rewatch from time to time.

what more kdrama can you suggest? how about pinocchio? have you seen it?

          1
          2

I started but I haven’t finished it. it is on my dropped drama list. So, I can’t really say much about it. You can watch: Because this is my first life, The healer, Descendants of the sun, I need romance 3. or you can watch current airing dramas like: switch or a poem a day, and join in the fun conversations on beanies fan posts..

i personally wouldn’t reccommend pinocchio, maybe as a relaxed watch since it’s just kinda fluff & arguably quite basic plotline

Mother is by far the K-drama that made me cry the most. And it’s all-around amazing.

I watch on Viki, DramaFever, or Netflix. If what I want is not on one of those platforms, I download from torrentkim or AvistaZ (invite needed).

I cried a lot watching Prison Playbook.. it’s a very good drama. Check it out!

    Welcome! 🙌
If only choose three.. well –
Forest of Secrets – imo one of the best ever crime kdrama
Live Up to Your Name – medical drama (with a twist) funny and entertaining.
Misaeng – slice of life / everyday working life drama, weighty and beautifully..

But there’s so much more excellent dramas out there. Chief Kim (so fun), Signal, Bad Guys, Liar Game, Coffee Prince.

a really old but really great kdrama that basically made me cry every episode is tree of heaven!! it’s only 10 eps and the only negatives would be that since it’s a 2005ish drama the video quality isn’t that high?
but other than that, if you’re keen on movies, secretly greatly & a werewolf boy are tearjerkers, and a taxi driver as well, though a taxi driver may be more relatable to korean audiences. 🙂 happy watching!!!!! (maybe sad watching since you’re looking for sad dramas)

i am really a fan of kdrama, and literally drama with romance or love story.
i don’t like watching love in the moonlight. all because i hate their wardrobe.
      hahahaha 🙂

I cried a lot watching Misaeng and Solomon’s Perjury. Both are on Netflix. I Am Not A Robot, The King Loves and Uncontrollably Fond gave me good cries as well.
