Beanie level: Noble idiot

Beanies, I need help. There’s this kdrama where “Bermuda Triangle” scene happened and the boys too busy talking/fighting with each other and the girl just walked away and the boys were so dumbfounded.

If it is an ongoing drama, then is it My ID is Gangnam Beauty?

I think it was radio romance. I can’t tell when, but I’m pretty sure she was going to get into the SL’s car, then the ML slammed the door shut and the two guys started their ego battle and she just walked away.

Ah I’m sorry but no. In RR, Geurim did angrily say she’s leaving to both of them. But in this drama, the guys totally ignored the FL and the FL quietly leave them, that’s why they were so shocked when they realized she’s not around. But thanks @superwhopotterlock 😊

Sorry for tagging your name again, @superwhopotterlock and @sensationalfantasy, but I remember it now! And just checked it again just to be sure. It’s FBND, specifically ep 10 😁

Haven’t watched it. So wouldn’t know. Seems like a hilarious description though. The guys deserve to learn that women are capable of making their own decisions and they don’t need to decide for us.

Yeah, that scene was so unexpected, ahaha.

        Preach!
It’s good that we’re seeing more FL fights back and decides for themselves. RR Geurim is one of them.

I think it’s just two girls having fun (watched it raw, a bit lost) XD they’re friends

They have a sibling-like relationship =)) Unfortunately, this is Chinese TV, queer romance is out of the question ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yes, so pretty!! They really try their best with the CGI in this drama. Gosh I love Heavy Sweetness so much, I wish more people were able to watch it 😢

IKR, so much prettiness! I sigh watching this show, it’s so dreamy at Flower Realm and I wish it always shot at night because I just love all those fireflies and glow-y flowers effect.

Me when Tae-joo went through the report, flipped the pages and saw pictures of Gang 1988.

Of course you’re okay. You just got hit by a car, got blood on your head, still able to run to save her (with dramatic BGM). What pain? Pain is not in ML’s guidebook. . #OTTphonecall #onlyindrama

Who knew Junki’s mantra “Gwenchana gwenchana” would be so helpful for this dramatic situation😂😂😂😂

I watch it to entertain myself with all the un-needed dramatic scenes 😂
This is in ep 5 btw, I think it’s at 42:00 mins(?). But the context situation for this scene is pretty serious actually.

A mini rant about Your House Helper episode 21. (more in the comment)

The harassment arc already been solved in this episode, but I can’t help but feel irritated by that bastard Mr. Yoo’s apology. He said “Because I’m drunk, I did this.” I was like umm dude, you clearly had bad intention towards Dayoung wayyyy before you got drunk. Don’t blame the alcohol because judging by your behaviour, even if you’re not drunk, you would still imposed yourself to her.

Also, just because the dude apologized, why the hell Dayoung said “You are nicer than I thought.” What? Yeah, I get it that he went beyond apologizing and admit what he did to her but isn’t that a given? Doesn’t she know that if Ms. An was not there to stop him, things could be worse?

And I feel so sad that the harassment incident couldn’t be known to public knowledge because somehow people will twist it and blame it on the victim for being drunk and “easy”.

I know I sound like a heartless bitch and people will be like hey at least he apologized, but Ms. An resigned and Dayoung even got scolded and blamed by her useless boss and her co-workers got a wrong impression of her. You gonna say let’s be kind and forgive, but it’s already 2018, the harasser will still go on with their life comfortably without proper punishment (even get to keep their job) while the victim will be traumatized for their whole life. What a world we live in.

But anyway, I like that the solution kind of realistic but also sad by the reality.

The only reason why he explained himself was because DY’s male colleagues stood their ground and were firm on wanting to know the facts (not their team leader, he’s still a submissive, good for nothing). I’ve felt that her 2 male colleagues are slightly more sensible. The thin one always asks DY before making a statement or passing judgement. Not like the female colleagues, who always make statements without confirming the facts.

Exactly! And her boss being all “righteous” taking Mr. Yoo’ side, “He did good enough by coming here and apologize.” *vomit+roll eyes
I applaud Dayoung for staying calm (but Mr. Kim’s presence and her friends’ support might contribute to that) because if it was me, I don’t even want to see Mr. Yoo’s face.

I’ve felt that her 2 male colleagues are slightly more sensible.
Although I still don’t like him for stopping Dayoung from explaining to her boss but given their situation, I understood his reasoning. It’s mind-boggling how snake-y Dayoung’s female colleagues are.

IKR! But it’s usually females who gossip more about other females. That’s also a reality. I don’t even understand why DY had to explain why she’s using those pills to that jerk. Even if she’s using it for the reason he assumed, that doesn’t give him the right to treat her that way. It’s her life. She can do whatever she wants.

          2
          5

            That’s also a reality.
            Yeah, that’s the sad truth.😩

I also don’t understand why she needed to explain, that’s her personal business. I get that she wanted to explain because he thought cheaply of her due to that pill, but I agree with what you said, so what if Dayoung take the pill just like what his assumption is, doesn’t mean that Dayoung will accept any man. It’s refreshing when she said “No literally means no!”

In real life, I don’t think DY would need to explain why she is using the pills; however, this episode felt almost as if it was a sexual harassment training video. Explaining step-by-step to stupid men that just because a woman uses birth control doesn’t mean 1) she is a whore, or 2) that she is having sex with anyone at all, or 3) that you are entitled to think, judge, or touch her in any way pertaining to her sex life. Additionally, perhaps the writer wanted to drive home the medical necessity of birth control, not just for family planning, but for life altering conditions. Even after fifty years, many people don’t understand this which is why access to them is still too often difficult and expensive in many places.

Re-post due to wrong format XD

this episode felt almost as if it was a sexual harassment training video, & Explaining step-by-step to stupid men that…

@egads, yeah I get what the writer wants the viewers to know. I’m glad that this drama sheds the light on the misconception of BCP and to be more open-minded about this. My whole rant is mainly about my frustration towards those shallow people who mislabeled and mistreated Dayoung, which annoyingly, also happen in real life. Actually I’m in awe with the plot so far (aside from the momentary stalker lawyer) but I think I’m too invested and couldn’t help feeling angry with the bad people in this drama because we know there’re still ignorant malicious people like them in RL.

@noobita I feel so much the same. It’s frustrating that we still have to deal with such malicious destructive and downright stupid sexual harassment and violence. AND women still get the blame and suffer long term personal and professional consequences.

I appreciate what the show is trying to do and say, and man I could watch that punch to the gut 10 times a day and it would always make me cheer.

Read Beanies’ comments about LoM’s ep 15 ending -> ehh, what could be so sad -> watched that part -> got super teary- eyed -> ran out of the room to cuddle my cats. Took me hours to continue to ep 16.
