You’d better believe there’s more Satie. I was pretty surprised myself.
“Je te veux” also cropped up in THIRTY BUT SEVENTEEN / STILL 17. That show has a ton of great music in it. I posted instrumental and vocal versions of this piece on my fan wall when it was airing, but I don’t have the permalinks or the dates, so will re-post them now for viewers’ enjoyment. I have a feeling the lyrics will be of significance to A PIECE OF YOUR MIND.

Mind-boggling, isn’t it? What I find interesting about Erik Satie’s music is how modern it sounds, even though it was written more than a century ago.

Satie’s music – whatever I have heard so far – is so sparse, but there’s still so much happening!
