@rueffie: HAHAH! Feel free! That was actually a rough draft that I never got to refine before I posted it. I should revise it and then re-post….with, like, pictures!
Wanted to clarify : just wanted to know if you knew of other places in SF worth (or not) trying for the Cioppino + I’d be interested in trying Tadich Grill and was wondering if the Cioppino would be a must there.
@halfmoon: I’ve tried cioppino elsewhere, but truly nowhere else stuck out in my memory. I recently took my parents to Tadich Grill for the cioppino on New Year’s Eve. They SCRAPED the plate clean. It’s known for its cioppino, actually! One of a kind, mouth-watering, deliciousness!!!!!!! On another post, I’ll show you the before and after picture.
I saw on the sfgate news today that Tadich Grill will shut down . It seems that they plan to reopen when indoor dining will be permitted, but we don’t know when.
Then I remembered your recommendation of ciopinno there. I had intended to try it out but covid happened. Sigh.
@pineapplegongzhu hi there ! It doesn’t look like they have reopened yet… At least, according to their site. I don’t think I heard of any other update either.

I don’t know if I’ll survive that but do share. I’ll just have to eat while reading it again.
