The only reason I’m still watching born again is because it’s LSH ‘s first drama after his military service and I’ve missed him so much and also JKY. I don’t understand what’s happening anymore. The storyline has become so confusing. I just hope it gets better in the second half.

Day 14: underrated drama

Be melodramatic💜.
I wouldn\’t have watched this if not for my love of all things gong Myung. I went in with zero expectations ( because of the title. I\’m really not a fan of Melos) and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. This drama had no hype and the ratings weren\’t that high either but it was a perfect little drama. I\’m so glad I didn\’t miss this drama. It became one of my favorites.

Reply 1988💜💜. I\’ve done over 5 rewatch of this and I still cry at the end. This is one drama I can watch over and over and I\’ll never be bored.

    Same! The feels are still there. I still hurt watching Duk Seon bawling her eyes out for being the middle child and how she felt so unloved and unappreciated in Episode 1. And how she matured by the end of the series prioritizing her family’s happiness before herself. When she tucked tissue paper in her dad’s oversized shoes??? Auuugh I felt that. That still gets to me.

        PPL and ads are interchangeable. The shows that put in PPL avoid ads that run in between the show. But idk why is there so much PPL in The King when it is clearly divided in two halves to air ads. I have never noticed ppl in other than asian tv but I guess that maybe because they run ads instead.

I have a theory about why sin-jae is in the Republic of Korea. Lee Iim kidnapped him when he was a kid and has been holding him hostage ever since to control sin-jae\’s mom who is in Corea. That explains why she gives him updates about what happens in the palace and he shows her pictures to let her know her son is still alive so she has to be loyal to him.

But that makes me curious about his current mom. Is she aware or not?

    What if his real mom was willing to send him over to the Republic of Korea? The family that he was sent to had money. What if his family in the Kingdom of Corea was very poor? The uncle knows how to target the weaknesses of a person.

    In the webtoon for Feel Good To Die, she did not, she went on to marry the other dude. In the webtoon, the boss learned nothing was still a douche and walked away alone.

        I was salty with the change, and it was a big one, in the series. The one thing they kept consistent in the end was that he learned nothing but had a girlfriend ( who was still his subordinate by the way) to babysit other people his targeted.

So I started watching six flying dragons *for the first time* because of the amazing things be heard about the drama. Although I’m not that into sageuks and 50
Episodes *geez 🥵🥵 *

But because of these amazing actors I was willing to give it a trial

18 episodes in and I’m loving every bit of the story, but suddenly a villian that I’ve grown to love his scenes is suddenly killed off and I don’t know if I should be happy that the even guy is gone or sad because I’m going to miss this character so much( and his eye shadow 😭). A villian I loved Gil Tae min, Annyeong.

(Other characters I love moon hyul💜, bang ji❤️ and bang woo. I’m not so sure about bang won yet.)

    It’s worth it. You can get through the fifty episodes. I watched this drama some months back and posted my thoughts about it on my fan wall. I felt so drained towards the end (because of all that happened and because I watched fifty episodes in less than two weeks), but I was glad that I remained committed.
    And yes, Gil Tae-mi was quite the character!

        Yes, it might even be easier if you take your time with it. No need to cram everything in two weeks. 😉

        I’m not sure if I’ll ever watch this drama again (it was too much, though not in a bad way), but I am glad that I finally removed it from my watch list.

    HAAHAHHAHA The episode count is quite daunting but around episode 45, people were wishing for more episodes! Ahhh Tae Mi was awesome. That fight scene though omg! So beautiful! They got lucky with the snow too! Made the scene more dramatic.
