The writers of DS:60Days might think that Powerful Women=Evil Women. Ugh! So frustrating!

oh my god WE HAVE THE SAME THOUGHTS. that reporter really upset me.

At first, I thought she was a no-nonsense reporter who seeks the truth and stuff but on the course of the episode, I was like, NO.

i wrote about it a little here http://www.dramabeans.com/members/boughtabride/activity/824569/ i genuinely like the show and think it has merit but i hate this idea of “morally grey” or “powerful” if it’s such a ridiculous motivation or not compelling. and women in powerful positions is nOT equality that’s another thing but beyond that her excitement to put her country and aggravate the social thought purposefully makes me SO angry. she’s worse than everyone else because at least they know they’re trash and can hide behind their disgusting ideology. “i’m an investigative reporter” my fuckin FOOT

The character Yum is based off of in the American series is nothing like this. Nothing.

Kimble had an agenda, but she never went out of her way to undermine or destroy Kirkman. She was a politician but never evil.

Is the original worth watching? I don’t love the show but I can’t stop watching it.

I have been watching since the begining and I like it. The first 2 seasons are 22 eps and the 3rd is ten.

You will see the differences in Kirkman and Park and the supporting characters. There really is not a similarity. And that kinda sucks because the 1st of season had the mystery of finding out what happened but was also earnest. Some eps were a slow burn.

When the little girl handed the candle to a disguised President Park, I sobbed so hard and I can’t stop crying. #DesignatedSurvivor60Days

I bought VPN because Netflix Japan has a lot of Kdramas but only with Japanese subs. After going through different networks, I found out that Netflix Philippines\’ list has the most dramas!!!

Do you know any introvert actors and actresses in real life? I can only think of Song Ji Hyo at the moment.

Kim Myung Soo (L) claimed he is

Chae Soo Bin, Enik Lin (ex- Royal Pirates member), Mao Bu Yi (Chinese singer), Yoon Kyun Sang, Lee Jong Suk, Lee Joon Hyuk, Lee Dong Hae (Super Junior), Leo Luo (Chinese actor), Godfrey Gao (Taiwan- Canadian actor/model), Danson Tang (Taiwan actor/singer/model), Jang Nara, Kim Jae Wook, Jung Hae In, Han Ji Min, IU

That’s all I can think of right now

Thanks! That’s quite a list. I just thought that it must be a challenge for them to act at first knowing that they prefer to be alone.

      1
      1

I won’t say that introverts prefer to be alone per say, but more like they don’t like to make small talk, which might be needed a lot of times on the set of a drama or movie

        1
        1

Cause when I rewatched an episode of Running Man, the cast said that Song Ji Hyo is an introvert and she preferred to be alone. It must be exhausting for them.

The first episode of DS:60 Days broke my heart. There were so many things happening at once. Seeing the tragedy happen felt so real that I found myself crying.

i cried at first episode but then clapped with appreciation when PMJ came up with his analysis abt sank submarine… am sooo excited to see how he becomes a self dependent President and not just acting

And Kang Hanna’s storyline was so sad too. But I love him already. He’s so smart and kind. I think i may love the speechwriter and the protocol officer, too.

So I decided to check out 60 days and I noticed that the President was Kim Gab Soo. I am also watching Chief of Staff where he’s an Assemblyman. So I guess he made it to the Blue House. 😄

i wonder how she will fit .. she is so not variety material.. but then she could be a good foil to other three personalities

DS was gripping. CoS seemed good but wasn’t to my taste.

CoS isn’t really my cup of tea which is why I was surprised why I found myself drawn to it. Will check out DS.

When Radiant Office was showing, it was so underrated and unappreciated that I felt like I had to let the whole world know about it. I followed the hashtag on Twitter and RT-ed every single tweet about it. It’s when I met a fan who also loved the show. She posts such insightful comments about the show that I couldn’t help but follow her. We became online friends and talked about dramas often. She messaged me last week that she’s visiting Tokyo so we met up. We ate dinner and talked a lot. It was such a short time but it was sweet and memorable. Isn’t it amazing to meet people who share the same interests as you? This is why I am grateful for DB because it gives me the space to share what I feel without worries. I’ve been here for 10 years and I owe it all to Boys Over Flowers. Thank you, Beanies!

Radiant Office was completely underappreciated. I should rewatch it.

I may never rewatch Boys over flowers but I crazily loved it in my teens and that’s what brought me to dramaland. I am sure i will not like it now but I have never found another effective show that brings people to dramaland in an instance.

I agree about Radiant Office. It was so low-key I missed it the first time around and I wished I’d shared it with everyone while its as live.

It does. It reminds me a lot about Forest of Secrets. I couldn’t stop watching. I keep on coming back for it.

SJK and SHK’s divorce news is all over the net and I’ve been seeing their wedding photo in every article. I couldn’t help but compare how it’s completely different from Rain and Kim Tae Hee’s. Sorry, I didn’t mean to compare but maybe they married too soon. This news breaks my heart. I am not a shipper but I am a fan of SJK from his Sungkyunkwan Scandal days and I know they’re both hurting right now. I’m not making any sense now.

there is never a “too soon”. Strangers get married without meeting and survive an entire life..

this is always about one’s own personality and character!

    7
    0

I feel the same. I like them separately. For whatever reasons, I was more surprised of their wedding announcement than their divorce announcement. In hindsight, what was supposed to be a fling brought together 2 very serious persons. I’m just sad that they have to go through the legal procedure while trying to keep it cool in public’s eyes. While a 2 year breakup would have ended with an agency statement without much speculation.

Same. I’m a fan of Song Joong Ki and this news break my heart so much. But sorry call me a selfish person, does it mean there will be more Song Joong Ki project in the near future?

I really think thry are in love with each other. You know, they barely has any acting project before and after marriage. They really did both want to work on having family. IMO.
