I finished the first episode of School 2017. Probably because I read some spoilers about the ranking so I was expecting it when watching. I like how to incorporate comedy and more serious issues.

    My drama goal this year is to watch the main kdrama classics that I have missed out on: Coffee Prince, You’re beautiful… I have completed one goal this year to have a full list of top ten favourites. This year is the year that I have watched the most dramas, previously I was in the single digits but I came back to live watching and now..

    Biggest goal – I’d like to live watch another Cdrama while live watching my kdrama. I did it in January and it totally wrecked me so I’d like to give it another go but yknow with food, sleep, etc.
    Mmm I’d also like to watch a medical kdrama everyone’s catnip post & changing taste posts have convinced me to try one.
    Other than that I’m just making my way through my ever growing to watchlist. I think so far I’ve watched around 20 kdramas this year.

      The only full medical drama I’ve completed is good doctor which I fairly enjoyed. I loved moon chae won’s character.

    I plan to watch a lot of sageuks (recently finished Painter of the Wind) and to pick up old shows I dropped or put on-hold. I’m trying to watch Cdramas and Jdramas but my schedule is already full of Kdramas ><

        You can watch the light ones that have a youthful and modern twist to it 🙂
        I like the heavy ones so I need time to digest one sageuk before starting another one.

    I usually watch around 30-35 dramas a year (!), but with school and work I just don’t see that happening this year… I’ll probably get to at least 20. I’m trying to focus on specific genres that I don’t watch very much though, and older dramas.

    He’s certainly had quite a year. He went from gluing receipts and being hilarious in one drama was to being murderous and creepy in another!

      I already became a fan in Chief Kim and he further impressed me in SP – the change between the calmness and creepiness was impressive.

      Heart to Heart is a gem ! Ex-Girlfriend Club had one of the most entertaining dramaland’s woman ensemble. Protect the Boss was purely fun with great friendships !

So I\’ve just finished Suspicious Partner! (need to read the recap + comments of the last two episodes). I was disappointed. I loved the first half so much + IRY is one of my favorite dramas. 🙁

    I am actually quite happy and feel some strange satisfaction from the fact that I didnt like SP as much as I did IRY. the latter is still no. 1. thank goodness. But I did enjoy SP. It did not fulfill all the expectations, like the awaited reconciliation for JW & EH, it also got a bit more slice of life later rather than suspenseful mystery romance, but all the characters were very hard to let go. I am still upset that I don´t get to see them any more, especially Chief Bang and Eun Hyuk… and Ji Hae, who became really interesting with her remarks. They felt like real people and the Five Crazy Lawyers should be a 180 episode sitcom or something. Can´t even think about it, I am moping again.

      Yes I definitely liked the slice of life aspect e.g. how Ji wook is so different when he’s working vs. being cute in front of bong hee. I guess my expectations were just too high. I think I would have liked it better if I didn’t know it was by the same writer. I loved Ji Hae too – though I wished they gave yoo jung more awesomeness, her character felt the weakest when she was out of work.
