Beanie level: Chaebol’s poor doppelganger

A while back I said that I wanted a kdrama about a sassy ahjumma curling team. Now I want a kdrama about the actual women’s curling team. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-43141628

Seriously, it would make such a good underdog story: http://www.koreaherald.com/view.php?ud=20180219000707

Now I really want this drama. I’m sorry I let my Olympic watching slide, and missed this, but these women are a great story, and we could have the epilogue showing them as sassy ahjummas.

Also, I want the skip’s glasses.

Oooooh, yes, a sassy ahjumma epilogue would be the best. I want this drama so much! Who do I need to petition to get this drama made?

Yes, the skip’s glasses are great. I am jealous because they are the style that I wish I could wear, but always look ridiculous on me.

If it helps, there’s been a movie, based on a true story (?) made about a Unified North & South Korea table tennis team that entered the Olympics together =)

I heard about them! They’ve become quite the sensation and I’d add that they’re certainly the new ambassadors for the sport of curling in South Korea.

They do deserve to be the subject of a drama.

Dramaland seems to be killing it with more serious dramas right now (Misty, Mother, Return). But I am only in the mood for fluff, and just can’t start them now. Someone remind me to watch them!

All the Heartstrings on the wall reminded me of finding this unsourced gif and being willing to watch every kdrama ever until I knew where it was from. Not my gif, I saved it years ago though.

So cute! I love Minhyuk in this! I don’t remember his character’s name yet so I keep calling him food boy 😅

Aww, Dong-gu, you can act gruff, but we all know you are just a softy at heart!

There is always one person in a group project who passes the blame…

I felt conflicted about this scene. I was glad she stood up for the other woman against sexual advances by the interviewer. But, I don’t know that violence was the right action in this case.

It wasn’t necessary…..dramas really like using this but she could land herself in legal trouble this way

These three should consider working on their spying skills

Honestly, I don’t know why their “tssk-ing” at each other was so funny, but I totally cracked up at this.

This is what I look like watching the Olympic athletes achieve their dreams. Every time someone does something cool without getting hurt I cheer.

These children are a matching set of odd quirks. It will be fun watching them realize that.

I held off on starting Waikiki episode 4 because I knew I would need a laugh today. Only just started it, but POOR JOON-KI! I was dry hurling just watching!

This was the first scene to make me feel sick. Toilet humor is one thing, but this? Just… ewwwwww!!!!

Never before have I found television this disgusting. I did not know it was possible. I have watched medical shows with gross “operations” that I was fine with. But my stomach was doing backflips watching this.

Having the type of day where it feels like everything is going over my head, and I am starting to get frustrated.

AKA: I may skip my drama watching tonight to go to bed early.
So there will be no Waikiki gifs from me. The fan wall is spared my spamming, at least in the immediate future.

My upvotes are for supporting you…not because I like what you’re going through. I’m not watching Waikiki at the moment but I always like your gifs. Himnae Chingu!!

Finished Chicago Typewriter, and I am really sad to see it end. It was such a well-done story, I will likely re-watch in the future. For now though, this song is in my head, making me cry.

It is really good! Set aside time whenever you do get to it, because it lends itself to a binge-watch.

Heee, I love Se-joo’s face as he does the math to work out where Jin-oh went

I am not crying. No, I was just cutting onions.

Why does surprising news tend to come while people are eating in dramas?

or when someone starts drinking and upon hearing the news they just splash out the whole water…..
