I don’t think OCN understands romance. Its like an alien going through the steps on how to make a rom-com but just getting it wrong somehow in a way that leaves you feeling cold and detached form the plot. Can it not just go back to doing cold, hardcore thrillers and murder mysteries again? They are better of portraying serial killers than warm fuzzy leads.

I look up OCN wiki because that word ‘romance’ throws me off.. hehe.. I’m guessing you are watching My First Love/Longing Heart?

Haha yes! It threw me off too when I saw their OCN Romance logo! Lol and the drama is just…weird. Don’t think I will continue with it.

Yup, yup. Incredibly odd – it’s just off? The dialogue is obviously scripted, the actors are stiff, the lights too bright, the plot weirdly edited. Erm… nope.

The lighting is the worst. The shots look so grainy and like its done by an obviously cheep camera. Compared to their usual cinematographic dramas like Missing M Noir, etc. its very badly done. Really off putting.

Pretty much me for Meloholic & Longing Heart. It’s not a good sign if I’m already fast forwarding within 15 mins of episode 1.

I think this is the best of “OCN romance”. But the teacher’s hair (older male lead) is not black really annoying me. We will see first true “OCN romance” ‘That Man Oh Soo’, which 100% produced by OCN, other romance dramas just ‘OCN pick’.
