I realized the other day that part of why I love Yong-sik in Camellia is that he reminds me of Go Dong-man, from Fight My Way, who may be my favorite male lead ever. I love the meathead puppy types because they are just so earnest and sweet with their feelings – I’m guessing the writer does too, since they wrote both dramas.
