    there are so many gems.. all of this makes repeat viewing so enriching

      Old school drama and film production would have tried to fix as many as possible these problems during post production, especially now digital alterations are easy.

        Not good at handling liquor was a genetic thing with the Lan family. Drunken LXC was the hyper “exclamation” boy. After the boys mistook wine for tea. After one cup, LWJ passed out while LXC bounced all over looking for his xiao LieBing. When LWJ woke up, he looked dejected and wanted a flute. Then came the famous line from LXC, “Little brother! Don’t be depressed! Let’s go down the mountain and get rid of harmful stuff for the people!”

        Lan family members all had very strong arms and hands. After Cloud Recess burned, LXC took some of their treasured books on the run. He met Meng Yao. LXC didn’t know how to wash clothes, couldn’t control his hands and ended up ripping his clothes. Meng Yao ended up washing and mending LXC’s clothing.
