Beanie level: The Goblin’s underpants

I’ve been waiting and wanting FoS 2 since 3 years ago but I lost my interest exactly when it started to air. Guess C-Dramas really distract me lately.

This is so fun, thanks’s beanies but my taste in KDramas kinda off guessed I won’t find my soulmate here
10% – Forest of Secrets

10% – Beautiful Mind
10% – QSD

10% but I haven’t seen a lot of these. Some of them are because I’m not interested but others I just haven’t gotten around to yet.

    2
    1

30% but I don’t watch crime dramas. Drinking Solo yay!

    1
    1

30%, the guest is on pause so didn’t count that one.
BTW exo’s Kai was was in Miracle we met. Kinda curious to know how much he appeared and how was his performance. I might watch it if both answers are positive.

    1
    1

I don’t know how to answer it because actually he had pretty important role there but not much dialogue. He’s sighing all the time and walk here and there worrying about everything but didn’t do much. I’m sorry.

20% here for Signal and DS, depending on what QSD stands for maybe 30%… Also, FoS might be added too because I’m trying to watch it before S2 gets released!

    1

I’m here cheering you up! You don’t have much time till August lol

      1
      1

Haha thanks! I’m probably gonna be putting one of my current dramas on hold just to binge it! Also, out of curiousity was QSD, Queen for 7 Days?

        1
        1

40%(ish – I’m undecided as to how much I actually liked Drinking Solo – the characters were great, but it felt like the plot was spinning its wheels for too long. Haven’t seen the other 60%.)

    1
    1

DS has slow pace but I quite enjoyed it because every character being described well

      1
      1

See, I remember enjoying it when I watched it but I promptly forgot about it after it was over. I thought the Let’s Eat series accomplished the genre of slice-of-life meets food stories better and more memorably, which also may be part of why I didn’t love it. So I guess it’s not that I thought it was bad, per se, but rather it just paled in comparison to other dramas in the same category for me.

        1
        1

I watched Let’s Eat 3 because I never skip any of Baek Jin Hee dramas lol. Imo Let’s eat is on different level to serve such a food stories dramas, meanwhile DS more like student-teacher life in academy yet using varies of food as beautify (only as drama opening)

          1
          0

I only got Forest of Secrets…. So 10%.
For the rest, I’ve only watched Mr. Sunshine and not my favorite.

    1
    1

I guess FoS is really favorite of most beanies. Can’t wait for August discussion in FoS 2 recaps.

50%. I thoroughly enjoyed Miracle we met and Beautiful mind. The rest are Signal, Drinking Solo and Forest of Secret.

    1

Rarely see anyone who loved Miracle We Met and Beautiful Mind beside myself so I’m so excited reading your comment! We have half similar taste!

      0

10% for me! But I have not watched 8 of these! And I kinda liked Signal, but not loved it. So you never know…

    1
    1

So what that 10%? Are we totally opposite character then? just kidding

      0
      1

        Forest of Secrets / Stranger.
Well, they do say opposites attract… Hehe.
I saw Guest on someone else’s list too! That seemed intriguing. Will check it out.

        1
        1

Yes if you into horror genre type you’d totally love it!
And let’s be patient waiting for Hwang Shi Mok!

          1
          2

Fervently hoping and praying that Hwang Shi Mok doesn’t disappoint. The only thing keeping me distracted is the delightful Into the Ring. I can’t tell you how impatiently I’m waiting for IOTNBO to finish!!

Not fond of horror; I like a straightforward crime/thriller more. But will look into it with more detail 😀

            1
            0

Yeah whenever I had big expectation for something somehow it turns out meh but no no no let’s not talk about it

            0
            0

0%! I have seen none of these. I haven’t even heard of half of them. 🙈

    1
    1

Oh My God, how come? How? Am I weird?

      1
      1

😂 I think it’s just that the selection of kdramas I have access to in my corner of the world is pretty limited. And then I’m less likely to watch things like Signal or Forest of Secrets (these ones I know!) as I tend to lean in a rom-com direction.

        1
        1

I already comment on your post and read your list lol. It’s okay I like rom-com too but just way too picky.

    0%, wow.

Only because I haven’t finished FOS yet, though~

30% but happy cause I saw Drinking Solo on your list!

What are they if I may know? Thank you for made DB much more fun this way. We could know more beanies too.

      1
      1

30% and enjoyed The Guest. Not a genre I would usually watch. The rest have not seen it.

    1
    1

Yes I like this kind of genre that’s way I found difficulties to choose KDramas these days lol.

Do you think Kim Hyun-Joo ever make any mistake at choosing drama?
a. No. Not yet
b. I don’t think so. She has good taste up until today.
c. She. Would. Never.

I have watched 7 of her shows and disliked 6 of them. But I like her. She is one of the first actresses I knew and I always have a soft spot for her.

    2
    1

OMG how come? I only watch 6 and love them all. Watcher is quite good, the last time I’ve been so captivated by this kind of drama was Secret Forest. Miracle we met was touching too it was my fave all time.

I only remember her in The Miracle We Met. It was a good drama. But I watched for Kim Myung Min. He played ~3 characters convincingly.

    2
    1

I love Kim Myung Min sooo much, love his chemistry with KHJ my heart always aching I feel like in KHJ position lol.

Don’t convince me to watch any other dramas right now. I’m focusing only for Different Dreams. Mostly because of Lee Yo-Won, secondly because of Yoo Ji-Tae, thirdly because of the rest.

Million years too late for Nirvana In Fire but it\’s okay because right now I\’m trapped and can\’t go back.

This drama just way too sad. Don’t think could watch it any longer.

Omg! I need to watch the new eps asap. Not that i condone what Jiham and Jungsang were doing beforehand, but after watching how Jiham confronts his wife and how she reacted after that, my heart breaks for him a bit. His relationship and his wife is toxic. Huhuhu

    1
    1

His wife hurts, she is. They were together since ages of course she doesn’t want to end their marriage, but it feels like she wants everyone to be suffered as well.
Gosh I don’t know but why everyone can’t be happy at the moment. Even any other makjang dramas I knew aren’t that sad.

me discussing with my friend why somebody named ‘Jin-Sang’ always ruined Gong-Myung love-life

My biggest mistake this year is watching Mr Sunshine.
Never watch any of KES dramas before but here I am, worrying too much about the shiny ending.
OMG what’ll happen to my Eugene-Aeshin?

#MrSunshine is one of her best dramas so I don’t think you made a mistake. Drama broke my heart a lot but I was satisfied and have no regrets.

I was expecting sad ending yet still like everyone else we had brief hope that the ending would be different. And right now I feel devastated lol.

      1

I haven’t seen the last episode but I got spoiled when I checked Twitter. Now, that was a mistake! LOL They kept repeating, “Gun. Glory. Sad endings.” that I kinda expected the ending already. Fighting and sometimes dying was what good people did then. *sigh*

It was too much for me to take. I can’t.

a bit disappointed with Let\’s Eat 3 ending. Okay, maybe not a bit..
I mean, as Lee Ji Woo, I\’ll be shredded into pieces but I\’m sure I\’ll play it cool like she did and just OK fine.

I was disappointed too but hey couldn’t be avoided. Overall a good season.

Jiwoo know DY so well, and she trust him. With him saying that he is not rejecting but need sometime to build himself is realistic and JW really understand that, she always mature since the college day. For someone who lost his passion in life and being slumps in anything is not easy to stand up and need a big courage.
For me the ending is good enough and relatable .

Thank you, your words comforting me a bit.

My appetite increases for like 999% while watching Let\’s Eat 3. Is it bad influence? I feel so wrong

Just why I don\’t get any news from Park So Dam. Does she not getting any small screen offer from anyone.

She spent months on a play and is now most likely busy filming the movie Parasite with the director from Okja. I miss her on the small screen but I believe she’s sticking through with Chungmuro as her focus.

    I miss her too…

The final episode of Miracle We Met was woahhhhh nobody expected this kind of ending but truthfully I can\’t digest it yet.
The one who disappear, the one who made a pact with Angel, which HyunChul?

He has to back to his own family but my heart shred into pieces I feel like I’m Kim HyunJoo herself . WHAT I AM SUPPOSED TO DO. Maybe JangHyuk oppa will heal my wounds after watching this drama.

5

The things getting insanely intense and I’m restrained myself for watching Jang Hyuk because of these complicated family..

I ended up dropping MTWM because of no time and the fact that the plot is inching slowly because it’s a 20 episoder.

    0
    1

So far I don’t think the pace is too slow because a whole story itself need to be shown in detail, but at some points there are things which being added to makes it more comedic yet I don’t mind.
Lol maybe I’m just getting drawn and trapped into another ahjusshi so I don’t realized about the plot which getting dragged or so.

      0
      1

The plot isn’t slow as compared to other dramas but now I find it lagging? Like I feel that since the drama knows it has till 20 eps to resolve everything they’re taking it’s leisurely pace which is prickling me because I’m in exam season so I don’t have enough time right now. Once it’s done I’ll pick it up again because I’m curious how the wives problem will be solved. The MIL is def there for comedic effect which I don’t mind because she was really mean to the young wife. 😂

        1
        1

I’m in busiest time of this year too but I need to keep at least one drama to keep me sane. That’s why I dropped everything but nah this one.
Both families problem getting complicated yet I have no clue how this drama will be ended because everything seems unfair if the man stay in one of wives. Those not very helpful angels need to take his soul too so no woman could have her.

I just can’t wait for the next episode of Miracle We Met. I knw there are lot of attempting dramas lately but I had my eyes on this one since months ago. Basically because KimMyungMin and KimHyunJoo.

I’m curious about what his “real wife” will do now that she has put the pieces together. Hehehe

    1
    1

The things getting interesting here since Hyun-Chul started to get comfortable with his “new” wife too.

      1
      1

Yeah that scene with him rubbing off the flour on her face after cooking together – there were definitely butterflies on both sides. Hehehe

Lol I got butterflies too by seeing them together

Waiting ‘furiously’ for Miracle That We Met subs. Come on I only watch The Good Witch right now. All my fave actors and actresses getting scattered this year and I’m being super picky lately

Same. Wondering who bought the rights for Miracle that We Met…First, Pretty Noona now this one. I’m starting to get annoyed.
