I don’t have any fun gifs to post but I do need to rant a little bit, so bear with me.
Gun God can be a goof ball when he’s jelly – but at some point Little Squid is going to get really tired of him treating her like a little child. I hope it happens and she gives him a piece of her mind.
Still loving this show, but tired of how he’s always saying things like “you don’t need to know” when she is CLEARLY the more emotionally mature person in the relationship.
When she wises up and stops letting him do everything he wants…….then it will be time for him to grovel. I sure hope it happens and look forward to it ALOT! I love her to death but am getting tired at how much she acquiesces to what he wants. still, just keep giving us his little smirks and big smiles…
Okay, rant over – off my soap box… looking forward to tomorrow night’s shows.
Augh I just want to point out too how Squid didn’t pester him when he shooed her away. It hurt her but she accepted the fact that he “didn’t” want her anymore and talked to him in a very adult way that she’ll move on then. Thanked him for being her first boyfriend.
Sigh. Whatever. The novel doesn’t have this stupid angst arc and why the writer needs to add this bit is beyond me.
I am going to be slightly dissatisfied if there is not a better resolution to his actions. I would appreciate some grovel. I was happy when she told him that it was none of his business what kind of mom she’d be. I just wish we’d seen a bit more of that.
Slightly dissatisfied? I’ll be more than slightly.
This business of Gun telling her all those horrible painful things to hurt her (to keep her mom happy)then waltzing back into her life being all jealous as if nothing happened? I don’t think so.
Granted he was miserable too – but at least he knew why.
I’m hoping that as we are on episode 27 of 41 or 44, the writer will certainly add some groveling (on his part) and her not putting up with his shit anymore.
We’ll see, we’ll see…
This show has just made me so happy that if it keeps on keeping on like that the overall disappointment won’t be too big. Probably. I had the same concern when I saw parts of this ep raw. Just because we saw Gun hurt doesnt clarify or rectify the situation for Squid and we need that. They need that.

Would love to see her more be snarky at him! She can totally do it based from how she told him off.
