It’s Friday which means the next episode of Before We Get Married.
Now the question is – do I watch little Squid first, or see Wei Wei crack and let herself go?
hmmmmmmm

Did you have a hard time with some of the office scenes? I know Wei Wei’s boss is horrible, but I thought Wei Wei came off looking a bit unprofessional and petulant in some of those meetings.

Petulant and a understatement of her actions. She has been just awful. The only thing that helps is knowing she is trying so hard to keep the ‘status quo’ for some reason. Maybe she is a person who can’t handle change?
That part isn’t making sense. She is sticking with her fiance because ‘it’s always been that way’ seems to be the only way she can cope.

But yes those office scenes have been a bit hard to swallow. I do hope she changes in that regard.

She was so committed to their plan and that partnership they had with it I think it is hard for her to give that up.
I do like that it seems to be going in the direction that if she breaks off with the fiance it will be because of changes in the relationship not just because of another man.
Her fiance is turning into such a disappointment.

I wish we had some background as to why it is so hard for her to let go. It’s interesting that this drama doesn’t seem to give much back story to any of the characters. In fact it is nothing. With the possible exception of Ms. Clingon…

Finally watched the newest ep. His ex worries me as she obviously has another bomb to drop around the pregnancy but she also has that ….if I cant have you no one can vibe.
I do not think these two could ever be just friends, but am glad if they reset their relationship back a bit.

I agree – his ex has something else up her sleeve. Can I comment on what a great job Jasper and Puff are doing together? You can almost physically feel his anguish when he watches her and knows he has to wait.
And her eyes are also full of so much conflict. whew.

@stpauligurl I agree they are playing these emotions well. Watching him it almost feels like he is in her gravitational pull. Whereas she is not quite there yet. The way Puff is playing it is almost like WeiWei would feel relief if it could go back to how it was.

@bcampbell1662 I think that Wei Wei is really trying to come to terms with her desires and wants. Did you notice at the end of this episode when she is sitting on the couch all pensive, and when the phone rings her eyes light up. And, as quickly they go kind of dead when she realizes its 321. I mean that is quite telling in itself.

There was a shot in the bed when he was looking down at her with such intense love and longing in his eyes. I think the term gravitational pull is an apt description for how he is around her.
Looking forward to the next episode (if only it wasn’t 6 days away!) and it looks like things really come to a head for her.
