Watched Along with the Gods: Two Worlds yesterday. It was entertaining and I cried a fair share of tears. Still, it made me realise that Hello Ghost will still be one of my favourite among Cha Tae-hyun’s films in regards of sentimental stories about the dead and the living :’)

      I LOVE Lee Hi but I couldn’t take the modern pop songs seriously with the way they were used in this drama and they make me laugh when I hear them 😂 But I always listen to the gorgeous Will Be Back and Wind 💖

Oh Waikiki, you’re one big yo-yo with crazy mood swings. One minute I’m laughing my head off, the next one I feel all warm and fuzzy. Your characters are loony most of the time, but swoon-y in some. You always throw over-the-top situations at us and still manage to sneak in sensible lessons through them. You maybe predictable in some plots, but erratic in everything else that I embrace whatever the brilliant actors pull out from their sleeves, be it in exaggeration or in subtlety. Thanks for being my happy pill at the start of every week 😚😚 Till the next Waikiki Monday!

[Not another Waikiki post 😬] Me and best friend are travelling to Iceland soon and the first thing I did as a preparation for our trip is (re)watch Youth Over Flowers in Iceland 😆😆 Super excited!

      I love this F4 so much! I think it won’t be as cold as shown in the show by the time we are there (which is in two weeks’ time! omo!) but yes anyway to hotdogs!

Who would’ve thought that watching Waikiki EP9 while recovering from a cold would bring so much hysterical laughter 😂😂😂 I’m pretty sure I sound nothing close to sexy with a blocked nose, but they say laughter is the best medicine, so thanks to these two, I feel so much better already, haha!

Waikiki EP8 afterthoughts: Boy, this lead cast deserves an award for dedicating themselves to slapstick, though I don’t remember Soo-ah having any part in it. Speaking of her, I’m getting frustrated with her presence in the guesthouse. I was still okay with her character in the first two episodes 🙁 That aside, I can definitely watch Dong-gu going all squiggly and panicky over Yoon-ah’s aegyo all day. 😍😍

Grand Prince is premiering soon, but a love triangle between two princes and daughter of a noble? I mean, I love some brother rivalry stirring in my sageuk soup, yet even with Yoon Shi-yoon in only his second sageuk, I don’t feel intrigued enough to check it out. It doesn’t help that Seven Day Queen was the last romance sageuk I had watched and I am still enthralled by how good it was.

Confession: I am currently obsessed with making kimchi. More precisely, easy “mak-kimchi” recipes.
— So, after my first try was relatively successful (tbh, I don’t have high standards), I got ambitious and made a 2nd batch using the same recipe, but improvised with vegan ingredients and kept the leaves attached to the core instead of cutting them up. Unfortunately, I misread a few measurements and methods and despite the gut feeling that I have failed, I still went ahead with the fermenting process.
— My gut was right. Had just thrown out the whole lot because the taste and smell were way off, BUT I will make a new batch tomorrow 😂😂

      It’s Life Bar (or Life Pub) and this upcoming episode will only be aired next week, March 1st on TvN. I’m not so sure if there are English subs out for this show, but there’ll be plenty of streaming sites offering raw (unsubbed) ones 😀

      I usually watch on streaming sites with Chinese subs, or sometimes even without subs. Not sure if they will have English subs for this upcoming episode with JJS & KJW, since I can’t find any for the most recent ones from this show :/

The Waikiki Report: 6 episodes in and I feel like I went down the rabbit hole cheering for our loony underdogs while at the same time pulling hair strands because they always end up digging their own graves or getting others into trouble. Yes, I’m looking at you, Jun-ki 😂😂 Also, I like these bite-sized sitcoms we’re getting, but I wish they had kept the cat in the bag a little longer for Dong-gu and Yoon-ah.

Waikiki EP5: Gross level is relatively low, especially after what we had experienced 😰. But the second-hand embarrassment is so high that I had a medley of laughing, cringing and doing The Scream. Worse when you know it’s coming but you’re already too deep into this black hole.
