The thing is, none of my friends understand me ’cause they’re stuck up on the more hyped shows. They don’t know they’re skipping on such a gem.

People missing out on SKL are losing something precious for sure! But I always feel like I have an upper hand when I am watching a show that isn’t that popular..

I don’t know how to explain it exactly but I always feel better in a small group of fans dedicated to a show- like what happened with SKL and I remember You before that! i can never join in quality conversations in threads which become really popular- like Moonlight or Moonlovers perhaps.

Same! I can’t help but scurry away from the mainstream shows (with W being an exception), because usually the discussions/comments for such shows would be, “Waaaah! They’re so cute!?!? I ship them irl already!” stuff like that. So I let the hype die down, only to realize there isn’t actually real meat to the drama’s plot.

SKL and I Remember You are considered underdogs in ratings, but for an i-fan like me, I’m quite disappointed that these shows don’t receive the recognition they deserve. But then again I am an i-fan, so I can rewatch these gems anytime. 🙂

Being an i-fan definitely has many perks, but I sometimes get quite upset that I can’t contribute to the ratings in any way. I felt this quite a lot recently when low ratings for Running man led to a whole lot of fiasco.. And yeah IRY was the beginning of it all! I even remembering going to the KBS World page and pleading for a season 2 because there was so much material for another season!
