    To us, purposely learning a new skill just for the sake of trying to impress someone seems so out of the way, but to Gu Wei Yi, it’s actually opening up a new world of experiences for him that he would have never done in the first place if it weren’t for someone else…. Momo literally changed his world

    Just watch to the end and see how he acquires said child… You’re going to love him even more because you realize his level of thoughtfulness, not just towards Momo but to everyone around him—even for people he literally just met— is off the charts 🥰🥰🥰

    About the jacket: That’s what I was thinking, too!! I mean, yes, he gave it to her when they were outside, because poor girl got waaaaaaay too excited about the first snowfall and threw all common sense out the window and didn’t put on a coat or change her shoes— but right after they returned home, and he had to take a phone call outside on the balcony, I was shouting at my computer screen for her to give him his jacket back 😅😅😅

      Yeah…I was thinking why isn’t she wearing a jacket or shoes during the snow! But, I think the show makers wanted to tick off the trope of him giving her his jacket…🤣🤣 I guess the actual trope is that of a kind, caring love interest who protects his partner even if it is to his own detriment.

      She gets really focused on her work and tunes other things out…Which is a great mindset for work I think. But she did bring him the actor’s jacket as soon as she realized that her beau was out in the cold! 😅🤣🤣

    Who’s going to take responsibility for our hearts??? I was wrong in watching 16 episodes straight–very wrong. I spazzed all throughout the night, melted and died several times.

      I spaced it out just a teeny bit more… my heart cannot take all the cute at once. I started three days ago and am currently on episode 15. Just watched the confession scene multiple times!!!! And melted and squeeeeedddd and died…of course… each time. This is my ghost typing. I think I’m going to pause it here and start this episode again tomorrow…and repeat the cycle again….probably multiple times.

            No, the VIP vids are basically the same, it’s just released a few days earlier compared to regular viewing 🙂 From what I remember when I was watching “I Will Never Let You Go” a.k.a. “Legend Of Hua Bu Qi”, I believe the VIP vids are released 2-3 days before regular viewing… So episode 17-20 have already been out for a few days now (and the VIP vids for eps 21-24, a.k.a. the finale), but I’ve been trying to catch up (and now I am!), that’s why I hadn’t gotten to the VIP released stuff until now

      I realized that I’ve got better things to do than get frustrated at a show because I don’t like what it’s doing. It’s not like the makers of the show are waiting with bated breath for my response. It’s easier to drop it and avoid what will surely be disappointed and angry feelings. I’ll give my time to another show which adds something positive to my life.

      Is it really okay? I have a doctoral dissertation to start (which actually should have started months ago) and Hyun Bin’s delaying it even more!!!

        Set a rule: no more Hyun Bin until one chapter is done. (It doesn’t have to be good, it just has to be done.) Don’t procrastinate too much — it took me seven years to write mine! You don’t want that to happen to you, it’s miserable.

          I don’t have the self control yet to deny myself Hyun Bin or other assorted entertainments. I am (slowly and painfully) working on cultivating that self control though. I’m still in the beginning stages where I’m planning out my research question and will be doing a pilot experiment next week. I’ll for sure be done with the dissertation in a year and a half but I don’t want to it all at the last minute (which I’ve done with previous, smaller research projects…).
