Watching Let’s Eat 2 episode where they’re eating Indian food and all I can think about is – that’s not how you eat it! I mean sure you can technically eat it any way you want to. It’s really all about how you enjoy your food, and there is no right way to eat it. BUT – why would you put Kofta gravy (cream based gravy – usually eaten with some sort of bread, usually naan or plain rice) on biryani (spiced rice)? I worship biryani and consider this sacrilegious. Why would you put daal (lentil) on your spice roasted meat(chicken? I wouldn’t know) on skewer, when it comes with its own sauces for you to dip in to enhance the flavors? color me baffled. Also Naan to subzi/daal ratio also confused me but that could just be my personal preference.

To clarify – the briyani looking thing could’ve just been rice with saffron or just plain spiced rice as it didn’t display other biryani traits so I could be in the wrong here

Even though I’m a vegetarian, I’m from Lucknow so I cannot bear the wrong way of eating biryani
