On the bts video, it was revealed that Jo Seungwoo hinted the props team that he likes soboro bread and strawberry milk. They prepared it for Shimok but when the filming happened, Seo Dongjae took both lol. We can say Shimok’s reaction was sincere from Jo Seungwoo. At least last season he got to choose his bread…

I\’m moving to Japan on July this year, but I don\’t speak Japanese. I only started to learn Japanese this month and my progress so far is a few hiragana characters. I think I have to watch as many dorama as possible to escalate my learning process. So beanies, recommend me something good please, please 😀 The only Japan things I\’ve watched are Erased (live action version from Netflix) and Sword Art Online.

    My favorite Japanese dramas are Life (2007) & Rich Man Poor Woman (2012). I haven’t watched many but these ones are amazing! Life is darker & about bullying while RMPW is about romance & friendship. Congratulations & good luck on your moving!

      Yes I loved Rich man, poor woman. I was hesitant to start because of the title but I really enjoyed this drama. Very interesting to learn about tech start-ups and I felt the character growth was great to watch.

    I know Hotaru no Hikari has been made into a japanese drama, I read the manga.

    The little princess- this was very sad to watch, the little kid was mistreated by everyone in that school because she was an orphan.There was a happy ending.

    Nodame Cantabile – one of my all time favourite dramas, the actors did a great job and I love the classical music featured in each episode. Very moving to see how the characters grow over the course of the drama.

    Real clothes – this is a mix of Ugly Betty meets Devil Wears Prada and is set in a fashion clothing department. It focuses on the growth of the female lead who gains confidence in a new industry. I think it might be useful to learn some of the phrases for a work environment. I don’t think there is any romance, it is mainly focused on her career.

    Mischievous kiss- love in tokyo – this is a remake of the It started with a kiss series. It is a cute and frustrating watch, the male lead is not great at communicating his feelings.

    Ie Uru Onna – this is about a woman who sells real estate by solving the problems of her clients. This has good reviews on my drama list, I’ve not seen it yet.

      I second @lixie‘s recommendation for We Married as a Job! I’m a sucker for co-habitation rom-coms and this one is quite good. It’s always refreshing when the leads’ parents are sweet and, here, the FL lead’s parents are so supportive and lovable. The theme song is catchy too.

    Congratulations! That’s exciting that you get to go to a new country, live there and explore a new culture! Good luck learning the language! I don’t remember the names of the dramas I watched eons ago, but I remember sitting through Gakusen – it’s doesn’t involve brain but I guess you can still pick up some language? The first season I think was the best of the three.

Long ago the first time I heard “I Don’t Love You” by Urban Zakapa, I felt that the “I don’t love you” words were a lie. But after watching the MV, I get that the song is actually about an honest and straightforward “I don’t love you”. This perception lasted for years until I heard Kyuhyun sang it and the way he sang it like it hurts him to speak all of the words. It reminded me of all kdramas with noble idiot tropes. The song is originaly sang by 3 people including a girl. For him to sing it flawlessly alone and put a complete story behind his singing is amazing <3

The whole group Super Junior working together means chaos 😂 Here, everyone was shouting loudly to choose their order for individual photoshoot. It’s been long since “manager hyung” become “manager dongsaeng” for them. So it’s understandable the manager didn’t know what to do. In the end, Won Yongseon Hyungnim stepped in and control the group in the most suitable way 😆 He wrote numbers on small papers but then they needed to decide who pick first. So he just threw it in the air and let the boys pick it up and no more complains 😂

This is my 12th year being an ELF and Kyuhyun is my ultimate bias. Motivated by my love for Super Junior, I study Korean by myself and now I’ve become pretty fluent. It’s been very convenient because I can participate in their live broadcasts and watch things that is not subbed.

When Kyuhyun made a Youtube channel as a media to communicate more with fans, I decided to contribute Indonesian and English subtitle. Although I didn’t sub everything, sometimes I was too busy and just wanted to go to sleep right after work.

But from now on, I will cut my sleep for subbing every.single.video he upload. Because he made last Sept 29th the best day of my fangirl life .

Kyuhyun and Super Junior D&E came as guests for Super K-Pop Festival in Jakarta on September 28th and 29th. I came on both days because that was my first time seeing Kyuhyun again after Super Show 6 in 2015. And then this talk happened :

Kyu : Well, I recently made a Youtube channel. And I see some fans input Indonesian subtitles for my videos. Thank you very much for that. I will work harder.

Me, melted, in the crowd. A fangirl dream to be noticed. And it was my birthday (literally). Isn’t it so nice of him to remember mentioning that on the moment he is in Jakarta. I’m still very happy every time I remember that moment.

(I’m confused where to begin this story so, I guess this is the result hahaha)
(P.S. SUPER JUNIOR GRAND COMEBACK, after 9 years of military rotation, is on OCTOBER 14th, 2019!!)

Little Forest is such a relaxing and stress-relieving watch.
The editing : calm, simple, point out small moments. The audio : somehow quiet, with a nice retouch on the voices. The story : simple life of little kids.

Beanies friends, please help me decide. Which one should I check, Dance Sports Girls or Sky Castle? I guess both have very different vibes but I currently only have one more slot for drama 😀

    You can watch ‘just dance’ in that case. Sky castle is great but watching it live might hamper your stress level since they tend to drop a bomb every week haha.

    Dance Sports Girls is fast moving and full of heart. Lots happens and it’s a short series that ends this week. Sky Castle is much darker and also good.

    Dance Sports Girls is more fun. Plus it’s short (only eight episodes) so it finishes this week. Sky Castle is exceptional but it takes a lot of time to watch because it’s quite heavy and can be quite intense. Dance Sports Girls is a breeze, even when it’s making me cry *sob*.

    They are my top airing shows, honestly. That makes it really hard to pick!

    Dance Sport Girls only has 8 eps total and ends this week, so that would make it easier to catch up on. I would recommend checking that out first. SKY Castle is great so far, but a lot more involving and it only has 10 of 16 eps out so far. But, really, you can’t go wrong with either. Depends on what you’re in the mood for!

        Watching Boksoo with LS honestly clouds my jusgement too much and I can’t vouch for the show by itself because everything is sort of heightened to a point where I can’t tell how much I’d like the show if I were watching it alone.

He\’s deleted the post, but about an an hour ago Lee Jungsuk updated his IG. CMIIW, I think he said he and his crews couldn\’t leave Jakarta because their passports hadn\’t been returned by the promotor, Yes24. I read something about promotor\’s financial assessment by the authorities and the passports being held by the promotor. It\’s a bit weird. Hopefully things get sorted out immediately 🙁

I’d been embracing the hype of Asian Games on the last two weeks. I attended the Opening Ceremony and boy, it was a once in a lifetime experience. Too bad I lost in the ticket war for the closing, I really wanted to see my long time oppas (re: Suju) .
I couldn’t not do anything when they were here in Jakarta. But on the other hand, I found myself not as eager as the younger me, when I ran around the city to find Yesung (thank god I met him), or camp in a fan signing event from the night before (it was a big failure). So, I made a background plan, where it would be amazing if I bumped into one of them, but it would be okay too if I didn’t.
I work from 8 to 12 am on Saturday and usually I meet my friends and hang out until dawn (the perks of being single). Last Saturday, I wouldn’t meet my friends until 7 pm so I had free time from 1 to 7 pm. Here came the plan. The closing ceremony was on Sunday so they might be free on Saturday afternoon. Some fan spotted Leeteuk and Ryeowook on a shopping mall integrated to Ritz Carlton the day before. I prefer somewhere indoor so I chose a bigger shopping mall at the heart of the City. Whatever the destination, they must’ve stop for a coffee. I know for a fact that SJ boys prefer S*bucks especially when they are abroad. So I planned to buy a novel and sit on the cafe until 7.
Guess what, when I came with my novel to S*bucks, Ryeowook was already there. No other member around, it was just him and a manager. I updated my SNS (milenial, duh) and hesitated for a moment would I bother them if I came for a selfie (his face and hair style was camera ready). In the end I walked to their table, I only said “저기…” when the manager said no with his hand, Ryeowook just smiled but didn’t say anything. So I was just “아..네..” and back to my seat.
The problem was my seat had the best few possible (other chairs was taken), but there was no table (taken by a customer beside me) so my position wasn’t natural. They already knew that I recognized them so I didn’t want to make RW felt uncomfortable with my staring. So I moved to another chair, and all I saw was their manager’s back hahaha The manager left for bathroom for like 5 minutes and I could see RW clearly but I again, I didn’t want him to feel uncomfortable so I tried not make it obvious (pretended to read my novel). I only tried to take a picture twice and they were all blur haha I put my phone back down too quickly.
After for about 15 minutes, they left. I was contemplating whether or not to follow them but then decided I didn’t want him to get freak out of a freaky stalker fan so I stayed.
I sat there with my head full with what ifs. What if I resisted and tried to at least say “악수라도..” and earned at least a handshake. Or said “제대 축하해요..” or impersonated his “자신 있어어어!!!” just to be funny. If it was Siwon or Leeteuk they would go for a selfie. If it was Kyu… I would be to nervous to do or say anything and I know he wouldn’t say yes for a picture hahaha

      Maybe I could calm because RW isn’t my bias.. If it was Kyu… I don’t know, there is possibility I’d involuntarily doing a slapstick by just walking near his table hahaha And no, I wouldn’t come up to him because I know what he’d do and I’d be disappointed. RW was in grey area, I couldn’t predict his reaction, and because he was just discharged from military, I thought maybe he’d happily embrace his popularity. Leeteuk and Siwon is a yes, they’re approachable, Yesung is moody but it’d worth a try, Heechul is no don’t, Eunhyuk is a yes, Donghae is yes if he’s with Eunhyuk, no if he’s alone. Sorry I’m blabbing hahaha

          Because I think I’ve never seen a picture of Heechul with a fan, in his personal clothes. I’ve found some fan account about their encounter with Heechul, but it usually during, on the way to or back from work, and those are from a few years back. I think compared to other members, Heechul has the most scary stories about sasaeng, and he sometimes expressed his frustration. So, I concluded that for Heechul, it’s better to give him some privacy, he’s more likely say no anyway.
