    Seems like a lot of us are more sympathetic towards Min-jeong. Putting acting talent aside, it would just be too mean and too heartless to leave Min-jeong like that. They did my girl dirty.

      She doesn’t deserve all the lies she’s getting from everyone (not telling all the truth is half a lie), specially considering those lies come from the people she trusts more. I’m all in for her, she deserves her happiness.
      Sad as it is what’s happened to YuRi, her place is not there anymore. I wished she talked honestly to everyone so they can say goodbye and heal their wounds.

        It would have been so much easier if she was honest from the start. Easily got rid of the ghosts, no misunderstandings, she can spend time with her family for the remaining days.

I was honestly expecting better from Geun Soo. I thought he’d broken away from the pettily villainous family ways. I thought he was enlightened with empathy. His journey to the dark side honestly felt really forced and I just… why would he honestly do that to Hyun Yi? It makes no sense! He spent his entire life running away from his Dad and it took him a split second to succumb to the dark side…is this bad writing, bad character development, or something else?

    I think it may be a combination of bad writing, bad character development, AND not as great acting. He isnt a horrible actor but there were a few times where I wondered what he was trying to convey in a few scenes

It tickles me so happy that Seo Woo Jin is so completely irrevocably GONE for Kim Sabu. Hahaha, his jealous puppy reaction when Kim Sabu hugged In Bum was beyond precious. He’d simmer like a steaming kettle if he ever meets Dong Ju and Seo Jung 😀

      Usually when they start to hate someone they will do it till the end no matter what happens, something really sad…Even more in his case when he is already fighting depression…People truly are scary and lacking empathy…

    Not watching this drama (should I be? I was/am on the fence.) – but he was pretty funny in Cinderella and 4 Knights. I mean, the drama is objectively terrible, but there were some good performances despite the awful, cliched writing and it somehow manages to be cute and watchable once you get over all the tropes and the terrible music/background noise choices.

      I’m on episode 7-8 and it’s pretty funny. There’s a bit of bathroom humor but it fits with the storyline and all the actors are doing a great job!

At this point, I\’m not even worried but the king because that cliff has a 100% dramaland survival rate. He\’ll probably show up at some crucial time and maybe even get a redemption arc #TaleOfNokdu

    Well I will be very curious to see how they could give him a redemption arc. But I will admit I hate him and feel so sorry for him at the same time.
    He is complicated and really doesn’t know what to think himself. I feel bad for him for being such a pig because he was sweet for a time.
    But at the same time I kept telling her to PULL THE TRIGGER – NOW!!!

    A lot…i think at this point they’re basically two stories but the drama uses lines from the drama, just in completely different contexts….

    I watched it and really liked it. They really go all out on the gender reversals which I loved. It does drag a bit in the middle but it was still quite entertaining. Both actors do a great job (It is Sandra Ma afterall). I typically suggest this to people if they are looking for a light period cdrama.

        For example, she is the bread-winner of the family while he is the one who is off dancing and drinking away. He is known as a ‘flower beauty’ so known as being very beautiful while she is the rough ‘manly’ one (even though she is clearly beautiful). One of the love rivals is a woman who is in love with the FL. The FL is the one who has to protect the ML. Even the FL father calls the ML ‘daughter-in-law’ and asks when he will get pregnant. There are many instances and they keep the gender reversals all through the drama which tend to be pretty hilarious.

        Like I said, it does drag in the middle. It gets political and deals with a war between different countries but it picked back up for me nearer the end. All in all I personally enjoyed it.

    The gender reversal and the first half were fun but it went more serious. The shift wasn’t handled that well so it altered my viewing experience. Still, I love Sandra (not because she’s a favourite of mine hehe) and how she portrayed the general.
