More songs! And this time, they’re sung by some of your favorite (or not) actors. This list is hardly comprehensive, and I picked mostly those actors who weren’t singers first. (And if they were, they are generally stars who are not known for their singing, despite their origins. See: Kim Kang-woo’s awesome beginnings as a soft-ballad rapper. That video takes forever to load, but trust me, it’s worth it.)

After knocking out a super-hit drama series (Secret Garden, as if you needed the reminder), Ha Ji-won is jumping right back to the film world with a new project called Korea, which is a working title that dearly needs to be changed. (Can you imagine the aggravation of trying to find information on that movie? It’s like trying to buy That Album by That Band. Or trying to find out Hu’s on first.)

The movie is based on real-life events, centering around the 1991 World Table Tennis Championships in Chiba, Japan, when for the first time ever North and South Korea played as one team and won. It’s got all the makings of a heartwarming, feel-good story, replete with odd-couple dynamics and underdog victory. Will we get another Forever the Moment? (And Take Off?)

Bae Doo-na has a fashion shoot for the current High Cut magazine, which takes the concept of “Doo-na’s doll play” and is available in the magazine’s issue #48 (March).

To be honest I don’t really see the doll effect, but the concept is probably inspired, at least in part, by her 2009 Japanese film, Air Doll, where she played an inflatable sex/companion doll that falls in love after developing a soul. Yeah, I know. I can’t decide if I find that more intriguing or creepy. Probably equal parts both. But if ever there’s an actress who could turn playing an inanimate object into a thoughtful study of what it means to be human, it would be Bae, who earned praise for playing the quirky doll-turned-person.

Wow — Bae Doo-na usually takes on a more girl-next-door image, but she’s downright sexy for this new fashion spread for Vogue. It’s enough to make you double-take (at least I did), since I’m used to her casual, dressed-down look, such as in her drama God of Study earlier this year.

She wears dramatic makeup here, which highlights her light complexion, though I’ve gotta say I hope this whole no-pants thing isn’t going to be a trend that catches on.

Bae Doo-na (God of Study) and “Chunderella,” aka Lee Chun-hee (Smile), are starring in MBC’s Saturday-Sunday drama Gloria which premieres this weekend. She plays a nightclub singer and he plays a fighter and a gangster, which would explain the look he’s sporting, and I have to say, it pretty much melts my brain.

Hyun-jung’s last time depending on Baek-hyun.

This episode was a clean finish for the Baek-Jung storyline. After this I think the drama can move much faster. I’m sorry to all the Baek-Jung fans out there, heh.

We are finally making progress with the characters! As it is for most of you readers, the more fun parts of the episodes are when the F5 are actually outside of class. This episode allowed the watcher to be able to see more of outside-of-class interactions and helped the characters to mature.

Episode 5 was somewhat of an awkward cram for me; I tried to fit as much as I could that I felt was necessary for the storyline to be understandable. As a result, I felt it came off rather bland and as a simple rehashing. Episode 6 gets past these necessary add-ons, so we get some meat here.
