Yoon Eun-hye‘s next project, the four-city-girls-experience-their-twenties-together movie My Black Minidress, has gotten a theatrical release date (and a promo poster), and will be out on March 24.

My Black Minidress is a chick flick that promises to be more — the novel upon which the movie is based was noted for being well-written and witty, adding to the buzz of the project. (Although really, Yoon Eun-hye alone stirs up plenty of attention; she’s like a buzz magnet.)

A few more actresses have been added to MBC’s Royal Family, the drama about the love story between a chaebol woman and the younger man she supports on his rise to becoming a prosecutor, who then returns the favor and supports her. Those two roles have been filled by Yeom Jung-ah (Working Mom) and Ji Sung (Kim Suro), respectively, and now Cha Ye-ryun joins them as another lead.

Cha plays a third-generation chaebol, which means that she’s the granddaughter to the head of JK Group; she’s also described as a “dark horse,” one who isn’t satisfied merely with the advantages that have been handed to her. She’s got a business mind, but never say a careerwoman can’t be a fashionista, because her wardrobe promises to be “upscale and colorful” in every episode.

Yoon Eun-hye has chosen her next project, and it’ll be the upcoming film My Black Minidress, which was previously teased last month.

Now Yoon is confirmed, as are the three star(let)s who have been cast alongside her in this reportedly humorous and witty project about the lives of 20-something women: Park Han-byul, who played a shallow but ultimately harmless rival in Oh My Lady; Cha Ye-ryun, who was last seen being anemic as usual (sorry to say, but she just sucks the energy out of a room) in Dr. Champ; and Yoo Inna, who’s currently doing a solid job being the hilarious sidekick to Ha Ji-won in Secret Garden.

What?! I loved this moment!

Oh… The most beautiful (visually speaking – yes, I loved screencapping this one) drama of the year is about to end, and I’m as happy as a k-drama watcher can be, with a most satisfying ending after weeks of obsessing over such beloved characters.

I’d like to thank you avid DrChampers (?) who read and discussed throughout the series, hanging there, waiting for a resolution that would soothe your impending wrath or simply for a step forward in a drama that was almost always in the same place. And, obviously, a big hug and thanks to javabeans and girlfriday for lending us this space to write and spazz freely like two delusional fangirls or depressed emo girls in a bad day to boot (depending on the episode) *muah*

Although it fell in some clichéd scenarios, played with our distrust and waryness for some possible upcoming tragedy and its romantic storyline was still a bit draggy; I felt this episode as something organic and logical for the most part. Finally, our two  leading heroes are strongly standing on their feet, walking on the wild side and laughing at the face of danger. I don’t want to talk about the heroines, they make me lose my appetite.

There, there, darling.

Drama, we need to take some time to think. I’ve never been a particular fan of this tactic, taking it as a subjacent “I want to break up, but don’t have the courage to”. This time, I’ll remain optimistic. Don’t ask me why; not even I understand that. Despite seeming gratuitously sadistic and cruel, I firmly believe you’re more than that. I listened to your excuses and you’re right – you’re not completely to blame if you ate some gummy bears adulterated with high concentrations of methadone, which ended in you having hallucinations and being a general idiot.

However, you’re still not completely reliable and we’re remaining friends until either you prove yourself worthy or we confirm you’re a tragedy junkie.

OH the emotional angst! Well, all I can assure is that Ji Heon does not jump off the ledge. (Was I the only one who was afraid of that happening to some degree?) However, he does jump off a cliff and tumbles down into an emotional black hole. Poor guy. Sorry aberdeen_angus, I can’t fix the problem with this episode.

Such a bitter win

So, if I just continue with my first idyllic love introduced in episode 8’s recap, this one was like finding your boyfriend holding hands with your best friend. Whom he hated. The same day he had said he loved you, and bought you a puppy. What in the nine circles of hell is this? I hope you have an explanation, and a good one, if you value your life. I have a knife and I know how to chop dirty pigs like you into tiny pieces. Start talkin’, babe.
