Poseidon: Episode 1
Take one part NCIS, one part Baywatch, one part Top Gun, one part k-pop music video, and mix it all up with some tragic-revenge and fall-from-glory themes. Are you wondering how on earth all that coalesces into a coherent, action-packed, thrilling hour of television? Answer: It doesn’t. Sadly, Poseidon falls into the category of Tries... More »

Poseidon releases posters
Upcoming maritime police drama Poseidon, aka Baywatch-meets-Cops, has released its posters. They decided on the super serious vibe, which I think was a mistake in the boring direction, but at least the faces are damned pretty. I’m pretty sure it’s the same font as Athena too, which is a step in the wrong direction, association-wise.... More »

Actor Han Jung-soo, known for being the good-guy second lead in Prosecutor Princess or the hot guy with abs in Chuno, (er…the other one, no the other other one, yeah that one) has been cast in the upcoming maritime police drama Poseidon, opposite Choi Siwon and Lee Shi-young. So… that pretty much seals it, right?... More »

Hence – this one might be a bit long… and that’s because I have aberdeen_angus’ final comments as well!!! Thanks to javabeans for allowing aberdeen_angus and I to recap this wonderful little... Prosecutor Princess: Episode 15
Sob. Is this supposed to be a good-bye? Yay for redemption! Muahahahahaha. This drama has taken the forgiveness scenario to its next level in such an endearing way that I can’t help but loving it this super duper much. My song for today might be the most personal choice for my recaps. If you’ve seen... More »

Prosecutor Princess: Episode 14
I have one word to describe this episode: FRUSTRATING! It was frustrating on several levels, all of which I understood for the sake of Angst (who won’t go away) and for the sake of developing characters. But let’s also put it this way: I watched it with a fellow non-Korean drama addict, and I could... More »

Prosecutor Princess: Episode 12
I loved this scene – it says so much about where In Woo and Hye Ri are in their relationship. He refuses to face her, as though he’s trying to avoid a confrontation with her, while she faces him fully – open and trusting. The distance between the two of them is far enough, but... More »
