Once again, we run the gamut of emotions from light to heavy, which I always find to be a welcome thing when a drama heads to its more serious moments. Yes, some of the conflicts amp up in this episode, but it also has more of its trademark goofy parody sequences to lighten the in-between moments. The threesome parody in this episode is possibly my favorite Hong sisters parody ever.

What an utterly delightful episode! I wasn’t exactly disappointed with last week’s, but I do think they took a small step back from the giddiness and/or angst of previous episodes. Well, it’s all back today, and in full force.

Also: When did Jung Yong-hwa learn to act?? He wasn’t ever terrible, but he seems much better all of a sudden. I like.

Chinese fans have come together to show their support for the You’re Beautiful cast and crew by supplying the 100-plus staffers with a buffet meal, candy, and coffee, which was delivered to the set of A.N.JELL’s fictional management company on November 15.

Korean fan-club members had supplied a buffet lunch earlier this month; this gesture was organized by Jang Geun-seok’s official Chinese fan club (http://www.keunsukchina.com/). It was attended by Chinese students studying in Korea, as well as some fans who flew to Korea to participate specifically in the event. Jang hasn’t been active in promoting his career in China, but has amassed fans there with his television roles from Nonstop 4, Hwang Jini, and Hong Gil Dong.

The drama hit its series high rating with this episode, although that only translates to a very modest 11.1%. Still, yay for upward mobility. (IRIS, in comparison, is far out in front with its own series high at 33.7%. We’ll see how Hero fares next week.)

The following video clip (watch below) and interview caught the cast of You’re Beautiful in a rare spare moment as they filmed busily — time is scarce and it looks like they’re in the thick of live-shooting by this point, with just three more weeks left till the series wraps. The cast also seems unusually close and always in good humor, based on the behind-the-scenes clips that have been released.

(Basically, my principal reaction to the interview was, “Jang Geun-seok and Park Shin-hye, just date already!!” Seriously, it seems like they’re always flirting, and it’s too cute.)
