Poong (Junho) “hates” that Sae-woo (Jung Ryeo-won) kissed him when she was happy about the dumpling balloon.

Recap
Only two episodes this week thanks to preemptions. Boo. It’s like going to a restaurant to order your favorite dish, and finding out that they only have enough ingredients to make half of it. Maybe it still tastes as good, but it’s not nearly as filling. You’re left wanting more—more cuteness, more bromance, more Hungry Wok family, more of Jung Ryeo-won’s sunny smiles.

Why does it bother Poong so much? Because he's afraid all those bottled-up feelings are going to come bursting out.

This clip is a perfect example of what I like so much about Jang Hyuk's performance as Chil-sung. The way he looks at the window says better that words what he's thinking and feeling about the two of them being in there alone. The way he thrusts out his chin, like he won't be beaten down, not by one-sided love or anything else. His sad eyes. And the way he straightens himself up and walks in with a jaunty sort of step.

I also really like the way Sae-woo is able to respond with child-like delight when she's excited, surprised, or happy. She's been sheltered from so much, yet even now when everything seems to have gone wrong in her life, she doesn't let go of her natural cheerfulness and innocence. She hasn't become cynical. No wonder she's so appealing to Chil-sung, who has never had a break in life and has never been around that kind of sweet innocence.
