Late post! We sat down with Lee Hee-jin while filming her recently concluded project An Empress’s Dignity. She talks about the character she plays, Princess So-jin, who seems annoying at first but is hiding a lot of insecurities (and humor!)

I actually loved So-jin Kong-joo, it's a shame they made her a little unhinged and crazy at the end.

She was my favorite character and the one adult in the palace that I really felt the most for.

I wasn't fully satisfied as the ending didn't show how she is after the royal family dismissed. The epiloque showed each of the other character's life after the happening, but not her....... she is one of the character that I can sympathize, and I want to know how she is living her life after almost all that she has taken away from her.

Really enjoyed her animated portrayal of Princess So-jin in her latest drama. The princess was certainly another person affected by everything and everyone in that palace. She had no filter, and did carry insecurities but she was genuine in her feelings. As a viewer, you did wish good things for Princess So-jin.

Thanks to Lee Hee-jin for taking the time to answer some questions for us!
