According to a poll conducted on the homepage for the cable show Love Action Season 3, as reported by Osen, netizens were asked which star they’d most want to go on a “handcuffed date” with. Despite all manner of inappropriate comments that spring to mind, it’s less kinky than it sounds — it’s a program where two strangers go on a blind date shackled together. Anyway, to nobody’s surprise, Korea’s pride and joy Jang Dong Gun topped the list with 28% of the votes, in a virtual tie with Kang Dong Won at 27%. The list follows with singer Rain (24%), actor Jung Woo Sung (13%), and “Yonsama” Bae Yong Joon (8%).

The female list was topped by clear frontrunner Im Soo Jung (36%), followed by oversexed pop singer Chae Yeon (25%), oversexed pop singer Lee Hyori (20%), Korea’s sweetheart Kim Tae Hee (13%), and everyone’s favorite sassy girl Jeon Ji Hyun (6%).

Meanwhile, Jeon Do Yeon and Kim Hye Soo were named the top two actresses with the best kissing and/or bed scenes by Mnet’s cable show Jae Yong’s Pure 19.

everytime i read these surveys i always feel SO out of touch with koreans' tastes. half of the people on the list wouldn't make it on mine. interesting. maybe i'm just weird. :/

@Akon: I totally agree with you. I don't know any of them...Or well...actually, I do, but I'm pretty much not a fan of any of them, except Rain, but I've heard of many of them. Some are totally unknown, so it's really shocking when I hear they were the top choices. :P I don't agree with any of them, but my cuz definitely agrees with the guy that want the handcuff dates.....She fell in love with him in Medical Brothers, or something like that, and says he was incredibly cute in there. Ah! The ravages of time. He's rather old and ugly now... (don't attack me, fangirls!)

Maybe it's just that since I am not a HUGE fan of Kdramas, loving only the Hallyu romantic comedies and some tearjerkers that were able to make it through to America thanks to the internet that I don't agree with these choices. Or maybe it's because I only like trendy dramas, no matter where they come from.. >.

Loved Kang Dong Won in Duelist, can't wait to see him in M. He does come across as enigmatic so I certainly see why he was up there on the list

I had no idea korean guys were turned on by Im Soo Jung... I always see her acting in really offbeat movies as quirky characters. Kang Dong Won is really cute in my opinion in a gawky, smiley kind of way... I'm familliar with all the people in the list, seen them in one or another movie or drama... Kim Hye Soo is very pretty and erm, fast in her movies but her silky high voice iritates me. I love your site! :)

I totally agree with Kang Dong Won. He is gorgeous....gorgeous :D He looks so hot in the opening scene of Temptation of Wolves!

I'm not sure about the other guys though. I probably would of have voted for people like Joo Ji Hoon or Song Seung Hun...

I think the list also takes into account people's perceptions of the actors' personalities and talents, not just who they think is hot. And neither Joo Ji Hoon nor Song Seung Hun are particularly noted for their personalities or their acting skills... They're mostly known for being pretty.

I totally love Jang Dong Gun !!! To me he is hot and great looking. I am so happy that he is at the top of the list. To me he deserves it. I just don't understand how one can call DG old and ugly. 35 is not old and pls he might not be ur taste and not good looking but to be called ugly?? Pleasee........ (but i can understand ur taste since u like Rain..)

KANG DONG WON = LOVE!! he is just so handsome and makes you melt when you look at him. plus a great actor and a sweetie. Im Soo Jung is just coolness..pretty, good actress, nice person that would be awesome... id think..
