And then there were two: Minwoo also hospitalized

…or maybe the title of this post should be “Are you kidding me with this? Dude let the Shinhwa guys rest in peace! (And no, not that kind of RIP.)”

Because, seriously? Seriously? Another Shinwha member is hospitalized following the group’s hyped-up tenth-anniversary concert (March 29 and 30) and ninth-studio-album promotional activities?

First it was Kim Dong Wan, and now it’s Lee Minwoo. Or to be more accurate, apparently Minwoo was first, and then Dong Wan, only they didn’t alert the press about Minwoo’s condition until now. I’m not so sure why they’re announcing this after the fact; maybe they thought Dong Wan could use some press-mill company.

Minwoo was admitted to the hospital on the 4th for exhaustion, spent two nights and three days being treated, and was released on the 6th. His management explained, “Lee Minwoo had been working without rest on his solo material, which he was producing himself, and gone out on Shinhwa activities; his accumulated fatigue and stress wore him down.”

To the Shinhwa guys: Give it a rest! And I mean that in the nicest, most literal way possible. Working so hard to cram in activities before you enlist in the army that two of your members literally collapse in exhaustion is NOT the way to go. We’d like to have something left to welcome back in two years.

actually.. the right number is three..
eric, minwoo and dongwan were all hospitalized after the concert..
the two concerts and album celebrating their 10th anniversary were so important to them, that minwoo and eric(and some other people) would stay at the studio for four days just to get everything right..
yah.. i know that some people wont understand, but for them, they would ANYTHING and EVERYTHING so that the 10th celebrations were as perfect as possible even if they had so much things happening for them individually
especially eric

by the way, only eric and dongwan are the sure ones going to the army this year
minwoo was actually registered in 1980(not 1979, his true bday) for reasons i dont know..
so he might not go to the army this year..
same as junjin and andy
hyesung, on the other hand, is exempted

Joyce, I think you got the number and the timing right.

Eric & Minwoo were briefly hospitalized right after their 10th anniversary concert (Eric's bad back and Minwoo's exhaustion)

Dong Wan was admitted to the hospital just a few days ago (April 11)

These guys are working so hard. They shoud get some TLC and really need to slow down to smell the roses!

Was the title of this article inspired from the novel, And Then There Were None?
That was the first thing that came to my mind haha. Maybe I'm thinking too much

Oof...poor guys...they really do need to take a break and relax...do they plan to sleep away during their army service or something? They're really doing too much and its definitely having a terrible effect on their healthy. I always think korean music artists, and esp the ones who are really in the spotlight a lot, work so hard, and its admirable, but sometimes its just too much.
hope they feel better soon.

haha, my reading of Agatha Christie started with And Then There Were None (although it died shortly thereafter; her books were too scary for me in sixth grade, lol).

Seriously, they need some R&R, stat!
I don't want any more of Shinhwa rushed to the hospital. Three of them is three too much.
But I hope Dongwan oppa gets better soon.

I fail at the Internetz. I've been reading your blog for quite some time and I *just* realized the music you post is downloadable. *headdesk* I just wanted to thank you for everything you do. I would have never gotten into Kdramas if it weren't for you. BTW, I love this song. Thank you for sharing.

That said, when I read about korean celebrities who work so hard, I'm always, always amazed.
