Choi Ji-woo for Vidi Vici

It’s almost hard to remember that Choi Ji-woo rose to fame portraying an innocent image when she’s been gravitating more toward chic, refined characters and looks in recent years. She poses here for a new photo shoot called “Vidi Vici by Lee Kyung-min,” which is basically a photo shoot promoting the makeup of cosmetic brand Vidi Vici.

I think she looks gorgeous, and also rather like an alien. A perfectly sculpted, beautiful alien.

What say you?

I was just going to say alien!

Seriously. I didn't read your comments, I just saw the picture and I thought, "wow, she looks like an alien."

In fact, I just remembered who she looks like. A beautiful asian Kip Kroker.

Hmmm...unrealistic and perfectly photoshopped...but I guess that's the purpose of cosmetic companies isn't it?

@news
I totally agree with you.

I think if the hair wasn't so slicked back, it would have looked so much more better. Like the makeup. Never liked her nose though.

her nose really bothers me. it really is risky having nose jobs, well of course other than the possible health complications, aesthetically even the littlest alteration could look so unnatural.

Alien, mannequin? I think that's the concept the brand is attempting to portray. All the runway models of French/Italian brands look like corpses. Weird make up and no smile. So Perhaps Vidi Vici is copying similar concept?

I like the second picture better. Whether photoshopped or not, gosh..where does she get that kind of skin? I am so envious of her skin and her beautiful neckline.

I smile to the memory of a famous Latin sentence which obviously has resulted in a defeat for Choi Ji-woo.

The photos are to promote a make up brand. If she shows all the flaws in her skin, all the ladies wouldn't buy the products! LOL...of course, it's photoshopped.. they all are.

I thought she looks very beautiful. Her neck looks so long on the first pic. I like the second one better though. She's the one who brought me into the K-entertainment/drama world and for that I'm thankful.

The second photo is beautiful, but seriously, the first thing that came to my mind when I glanced at the first photo is: that looks like a made-up version of Voldemort from the Harry Potter movies! eeeeck!

Her skin is just too perfect. I don't know if she's had her nose done..I'd rather say it's always been like this. Wish there was more hair in the first picture, would probably make it less scary. Otherwise beautiful.

The first thing I noticed was that her neck is very long. Am not a fan of CJW, esp. with these pics.

Choi Ji Woo is pretty and a fine actress, but I cringe whenever I see her pictures or see her onscreen because it always makes me remember of her character in 'Winter Sonata'. And I hated 'Winter Sonata' (and her character) so much, that nowadays I hesitate watching a drama, when i know Choi Ji Woo will be in. I think after watching 'Winter Sonata' I got allergy of her, I start to scratch myself when I see her. T_T

I think she and KHJ have the WORSE nose jobs ever and have ruined their looks.
And of course the "skin " is perfect. All cosmetic ads PHOTOSHOP the flaws out
to make u think it's really their skin. Don't be so gullible as to believe what u see.

To me, her lips and mouth are the most distinctive. She's a little too plastic looking for my taste.

@Maria - I agree with you about having a fear of watching her movies.
