I dont know why you say he looks feminine. Its because we have that americanized image of men that must be toned, muscular, strong. That must weight almost the same as his height.

He certainly looks boyish not feminine. The western culture says that man must have short hair otherwise they are gay or rebels.

I know because I´m latin (although I look european) and latin man are passionate and bulked up and stuff like this. And when men see a guy like him they say "gay" and they say the same thing about the man friendship touching that asian have. I try to explain that they touch their friend, theyre close to their friend because its a way to show the friendship and its their culture, but westerns keep saying gay because they are touchy with male friends and kinda cold with the girls. Its their culture, we must respect.
I have a brazilian with japanese traditional roots friend that hardly touched me (even shaking hands), always bowed his head to me, called me Bare-chan and always stared at me when he tought I wasnt aware of his looking at me, even so, he was my best friend. And he only said he was in love with me after I moved far away. I wanted to beat him up cuz I always had a crush on him (hey, I have an ancient crush for asians) and never steped foward because he was his way. And so, hes kinda boyish.

I do think young asian men are too skinny for me, but I dont think they look feminine. They look boyish. Like a 15 yr old boys body. We start to admire and accept their look after kinda 5 dramas when we find out we´re used to the asian boyish look.

BTW, sorry for my crappy English. I´m brazilian and my notebooks keyboard sucks.

haha. man, i LOVE love love jang geun suk. but yea, he has to do something with his fashion sense. i mean, i guess, i can still get a smile out of it since he's still 22, but he has got to do something it it in near future.

but the geeky glasses look was kinda cute. the disco and the rain look was acceptable. but the liza Minnelli post was just plain funny! lol. and the hair, oh my, dont' even get me started with the pants.

now thinking back, how i miss his cute innocent look in hwanjini and hotness in beethoven virus. but still, love him!!

I love JGS and I love that he loves being an idol and hamming it up for his fans, so adorable. I have been quite content to look upon him indulgently (and affectionately) from a distance, and I don't think fan-meets are my thing. But this has strengthened my resolve not to go to one -- I'm not sure my JGS-love would be able to survive the camp, the singlet and the bottles of water, and we wouldn't want our JGS-love to die, would we?!

I do a lot better in an intimate setting anyway. Well, it will just have to be a one-on-one date, then. What to do?

Feminine or gay, once JGS starts talking there's no doubt what he is. His voice is so deep! He looks really young but has a very deep voice, just like Lee Seon Gyun!

the quirkiness, mucho energy, deep voice, acting chops, good looks, boyishly feminine appeal, sexy eyes and plus that awesome smile (and yeah, he is a good cook and a Seoul Ambassador :) form one smokin' hot combo!! These are the best qualities to have at 22. hope this gets better when JGS goes older... mmm... cant wait.

LOL at his quirky fashion sense. Well, he is actually considered as a fashionista in Korea! Guess it's because he dares to be unique, and he starts a trend, he doesn't follow. Good for him to have the courage to be different. BUT, not so different, please!

Hahahaha..it's really funny to read many comments above..as funny as see Keun suk photos above..yeah..I'm agree that he really looks like a girl at the first photos..but he put a lot of efforts to make his fans happy..so i don't mind whatever he wears or looks..and what amazed me here..every time he changed the outfit he become another person..that show he's really a good actor..like he did in every drama he played..as i can recall he once said that he didn't care much about his appearance cause it's up to his manager or his cordi, what he care much he want to be a great actor so maybe because of this he can dress such an eccentric way.. but the most of all..he has a great talent, a great voice, a super duper cute smile, a warm personality and he care so much to his fans..that's enough...way to go Jang KeunSuk>>>>more success in the future n wait for your new project.

So JGS is really popular on JB's website. No other K-stars can draw so many comments.

Well, I like "thin" JGS because I like thin man. All other Korean male actors/singers have muscular bodies, so "thin" boy is unique to me. JGS can become more muscular when he gets older but please keep "thin" now.

I like his hairstyles which can show his forehead. He gets a very nice looking forehead. (From the angle of fortunetelling, he becomes successful at young age as his forehead is round and full). The ajuhma hairstyle is the least appealing but the ponytail hairstyle looks very nice. His outfits did not shock me this time. I sort of get used to them already.

Based on the photos and the videos on youtube, he must have put a lot of effort to make his fans happy and entertained. So fan meeting becomes like a "concert" or "show". JGS really gets a lot of talent. Hope to see his next drama soon.

You know you're looking at an actor when he can portray so many different personalities in just one fan gathering. JGS obviously has so much talent and I'm so glad that he also channels that creative energy to his style and clothes. One of the best actors of this generation, that's for sure. Beauty captures the attention, but personality captures the heart.

I'd go straight for JGS.

I like JGS, he is talented and super cute. Even his fashion sense I can tolerate. But the hair, seriously the curls are not working for him. Love the glasses look photos the best. But comewhat may , the guy can entertain and that's good fan service.

Only noticed him after I jumped ( very belatedly) on the YAB bandwagon; really disliked his look initially and only perservered cos of the good YAB reviews but along the way.. I joined the ICOMYM club and am now a huge fan.

a 30-something mother of 3, I do not have a sexual attraction for him, neither am I a big fan of some of his fashion choices. However, I think he is a very talented young man with oodles of charisma and an amazingly lovely smile ( otherwise this jaded heart of mine would not have been moved) and I agree with serendipity that he really really loves attention, to the extent that I feel that he need not try so hard sometimes. He is a very gifted actor and is well on his way on getting the recognition that he deserves.

About this fan meeting, it does look campy on the stills but looking at some of the fan cams.. this kid really worked very very hard for his fans and it seems that he put up a very entertaining show.. he dances well and I really like listening to his voice ( maybe not the live singing, makes me cringe at times)

if given a choice, I would love to attend his fan meeting, just to show my appreciation and support for the effort he has put in for his fans.
