I will look forward to seeing Lee Mi Sook looking this way. To me she is the most elegant woman on the screen so it will certainly be a wrench to see her looking tacky. She has the talent to have confidence to be a character like this.
I still remember her in 'An Affair' with Lee Jung Jae. He is also a very elegant looking man and when he smiles the world melts at his feet. I wish they would act together once more.

she's one elegant looking "tacky" woman. she could be in rags and still make it look elegant.... and i don't think she's looking "cheap" at all, unless they mean that she doesn't wear brand name clothing cheap, cuz she's not like sleazy-looking-cheap.

I agree with your comments about "the dribs and drabs of info without a lot of real substance." @nabi thanks for directing us to another teaser! I like this one a lot. Looks like Moon Geun Young is going to be GREAT! Also, Chun Jung Myung!! And yes, I agree: hopefully Taecyeon will not be doing much of *that* (whatever it was) in the drama.

@javabeans: since this is the first time I've had new dramas to anticipate (being a newbie I had to be educated in the classics first) I'm not sure how they normally promote shows, but I like the "sizzle minus steak" method. They're keeping us guessing. I still have no idea what direction CS will take, but the little tidbits have tickled my fancy enough that I'll tune in.

Also: while the tackiness of stepmother's clothes is debatable, I think she has the tacky facial expressions down perfectly. : )

even in tacky clothes, she still looks elegant. love her so much in "Untold Scandal". i know Bae Young-jun was the lead male in that movie, but I like LMS's onscreen chemistry with the very young (oh so young) Jo Hyun Jae better than her chem with BYJ.

LMS is a really good actress and a very confident one at that. She doesn't try to outshine her co-stars, rather she helps them so that they could shine all together.

I was thinking the same thing. The mole on Kang-Ha's mom's face totally raise her tackiness. Those thick eyebrow, which could be mistaken for a uni-brow from afar, does not alleviate the tackiness either. lol

I couldn't recognize her. But I thought she was AMAZING in East of Eden and she looks really pretty

I did notice her that I had watched her in that drama "East of Eden" but she was doing so greaatt job! ^______^ Ah, I tried to remember that she had been in another dramas what I sort of didn't remember, oh dang. Hahaha, I love the "tacky" twist, and on her own accord too. It looks like LMS is going to bring it for this step-mom role. Hopefully the promos don't disappoint me when it comes to the real thing. Too much of that lately, though not in K ent.
