Agree on your point about the Hong Sisters' casting choices. I've seen all of their dramas, and none of the leads in their dramas were miscast IMO. I know a lot of people are wary about using bigger names because expectations will be relatively higher in such cases. I actually think Jang Geun Seuk and Kang Ji Hwan were considered "big" names when the sisters decided to use them in YAB and HGD . Of course LSG's popularity is WAY HIGHER with him appearing everywhere. But I believe the Hong Sisters have a good eye for acting talents and whether they suit a certain role. LSG being a bigger name doesn't mean he won't suit his role. I have faith in him... hehehe..

Though he sucks, but I see he improves tremendously toward end of BL and surpasses in term of improvement more than the lead female and the wood-face 2nd male lead, lol.
I guess that is smtg positive to look forward for his next project knowing he's capable of getting better...siigh.

I found Korean drama by accident online in Feb 97.. Out of curiousity I clicked on the title Forbidden Love aka Gumiho with Jo hyun jae & Kim Tae hee. From then on I got hooked to Kdramas.

I'm looking forward to watch another Gumiho story. I'm curious about the approach in comedy...9 tailed fox going for livers in order to survive.

Interesting..... I wonder who'll direct this drama. a good script will go to waste if Director isn't good. & what station will broadcast this one. I hope it'll be MBC. They have a pretty good bunch of trendy PDs :)

and about the park shin hye thing i went through the exact same thing with goo hye sun because her character in BBF was terribly annoying. but i'm fine with goo hye sun now (after watching her in X-man. she was so cute :]) so i guess i need to see park shin hye in something else because her go mi nam is ingrained in my memory at the moment.

If it's Shin Se Kyung, then yay! She was great in QSD, and I'd like to see her finish with High Kick and try something better for her career. The scriptwriters basically gave her a wet blanket character who never did or said anything much.

I think I'll cry and hide in a closet if they cast an idol in this role.

when i first saw the title i had thought it meant the gf was a foxy seductive lady. that's what a fox spirit represents in chinese culture anyway. and when i got to the "eating liver" part it just got a bit strange. haha but we'll see. i only like a couple of their dramas, so this might also be a hit or miss. nothing definite yet.

I don't know much about Lee Seung Gi except from his performance with Shin Hye so I can't comment on him. Since this is one of the Hong Sisters', I'm willing to give it a try. So far they haven't really disappoint.

As long as this is nothing like the Kim Tae-Hee 9 tailed fox show.....

Oh, and I would really love for Shin Hye to take the role because she's in her early twenties, and she's soooo beautiful!! But like kayt said, she's in school, but she did say if a script catches her eye, she's willing to work and go to school at the same time. So if anyone were to take the role, please let it be Shin Hye. I love her lots!!! And it would be great to for her to work with the Hong sisters again. They love her, and her GMN character is sooo cute and adorable. Shin Hye <3333333333!!!!!!!!

Miss lee seung gi in drama, i really enjoy his perfomance in BL so i'll be looking forward for this Hong sister's drama. The plot is quite interesting can't imagine seung gi in this kind of drama, but what can i say Hong sisters never failed me since Chunhyang. LSG Hwaiting..

i would find it so interesting if they used han hyo joo lol. it can be done! like taiwan with rainy and mike <3 my favorite tw drama couple ever, and i don't really like most tw dramas. i haven't seen her in much though she seemed really expressionless in BL but i thought that was just part of her character so i don't really know. i would looooove kim so eun as the nine tailed fox but i don't really think she matches with LSG (not that she has time for it atm anyway :P)

Love the Hong sisters when they do comedy and little less when the story turns to angst. I'll watch this because: its the Hong sisters; I can see some crazy wild situations with the nine tailed fox story; and despite my feelings about lee seung ki as an actor I can see him playing this role easily.

My vote for the female lead is the actress who plays Keutsoon in Assorted Gems. She is young, has acting chops and has the "foxy" girl concept totally down.

A summer drama to look forward to. Yay!!
