Han Ga-in’s first CF with husband

I’ve never seen anyone dressed so well to do laundry, but hey, I suppose a couple in their last wearable clothes isn’t really going to sell high-end washing machines. Although, now that I think about it, beautiful couple down to nothing but their last socks and underwear? That might actually make me sit through a commercial.

Ahem. Anyway, actress Han Ga-in (Bad Guy, grumble grumble) poses for her first CF with husband Yeon Jung-hoon (East of Eden, also grumble grumble). Heh, at least they both starred in dramas of equally epic badness. No. I take that back. Bad Guy trumps East of Eden. Bad Guy trumps everything in the badness category. [Except Cinderella’s Sister. –javabeans]

The couple married in 2005, and has hit a few waves, recently fighting back some rumors of divorce. Perhaps the CF was undertaken to counter the rumors and show the couple in domestic bliss? Oh, the wonders of a good modeling campaign.

I liked the drama,(well the first 12 episodes)but there is NOTHING realistic about it.Gunwook's childhood story was unbelievably unrealistic and stupid, neither was the suicide story. His "revenge" is what kept me puzzled, why get revenge only on the Children? They had nothing to do with it,also you would think after so many years of plotting revenge against the family he would do more than seduce the sisters, and leak a few stories about the company.I don't know If it was the writing or KNG,but I didn't connect to his character I waited and waited but It just never happened,so the last episode came and *SPOILER SPOILER* he died, and I was like MEH,Ironically the character I thought I would hate(TS)]was the only one I sympathized with and wanted happy, maybe It's because he reminded me so much of Jaemin in Bali,or because he's so childish and a kid at heart, that It broke my heart to see the mental abuse he had to go through with that horrible family, and yet no one seemed to care or do anything about it).Oh and back to the suicide story! Why was everyone blaming him for his ex's suicide? He dumped her and wasn't too nice about it.sure!but that doesn't mean It's his fault she(who did not seem at ALL suicidal)Jumped off a building!!WTF the younger cop is the one who really pissed me off, such a douche!

I disagree with you... so you mean Gun Wook as Sun Young’s brother don’t have the right to harass or scare a loser, playboy whom dumped a lovely girlfriend in such an immature nasty way like a totally jerk? Tae Sung had everything in his life but just lacking a motherly love & he’d chosen to be a loser, the rebellious child. Who fault is it that he doesn’t want to grow up and be a responsible & worthful man? And if you feel pity for him for not getting the girl at the end, then it’s just his karma for dumping Sun Young. Also nobody is blaming him for Sun Young’s suicide/death but he can’t get away without the grief feeling for an indirect cause here.

Try to re-watch and analyze... Compare to GW's suffering since young who do you think who suffered most? TS separate with his mother only & GW separated with his parents, lived with the Hong for ONE whole year then suddenly got thrown away like a trash and his parents died. The Hong family did gave him love and he did love them too (esp. President Hong). The more you love a person, the more you’ll come to hate that person if he/her betrays you. If I would be like GW "if and only if" it would be a big damage for the revenge to make it with whole family. If you try to look and analyze the other characters you’ll know. I felt sorry for TR & MN too & JI at the end. But if it’s based on the story of this drama I sympathize with both TS and GW who were victims of the evil Witch. But I feel more pity for GW from beginning till the end, who’d lost TWO families & his last source of comfort ie. Sun Young. I deeply feel for poor GW, thrown away BOTH times, then, in childhood, and at the end - his running away, wounded, from this family, repeats itself,..

I feel that GW tried to 'harass' them, to 'rattle their golden cage' and to attack their pride and lack of affection, more than to push things too far like towards death... he surely was sorry for what happened to the older brother, and he didn't want to drown TS, only to scare him... as for innocence, ... now, there is an entire discussion about who is innocent , and who is not innocent... (of course, if only he knew!... he surely was 'stabbed in the back'). Just look at the last episode, at KNG's acting and you'll know how GW really was and then, look at the last episode, and see who has a moral conscience, and who doesn't.

Also you have to keep in mind that Bad Guy main story is NOT about revenge thus GW didn’t do much action there. It’s really a story about one man cruel & tragic fate.

"and he didn’t want to drown TS, only to scare him… "

I think it's possible that SGW was entertaining the idea of drowning TS. Remember -- Sun Young had JUST died. Early in the show, the one character he felt genuine rage for was Tae Sung.

Ironically, at the beginning of this story, the person he felt warmest toward was the mother. (I'm guessing SGW's version of the buried truth was that his father had thrown him out, and the rest of the family were helpless accomplices.) Not until halfway did he fully comprehend she was his true enemy.
